## Stringr Video Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Good app idea but"
I don’t like the fact payments aren’t guaranteed. I should at least get something for my efforts
-- aguilaralexus, 2025-09-29

### *---- "Never got paid"
I’ve shot several great videos and have never received any money for it. Even for the ones they said were a guarantee payout. I don’t recommend this app whatsoever.
-- Palestine 11245, 2025-09-26

### ****- "Good but could use work"
Good app. do wish they would payout more than they but pretty nice side gig if you're a photographer/videographer
-- Taj pham, 2025-07-08

### ***** "Easy to work with"
I’ve used Stringr for a while and they are very easy to work with. Sometimes the media gets bought and sometimes not. Sure better than legacy media that just takes it.
-- Wolfrivercam, 2025-06-30

### ***** "Ambulance Chaser by Nature"
I love recording for Stringr. I have been doing it for a few years now! I prefer to record riots and protests but occasionally I will record severe weather too! The app is easy to use, the payments come fast. Best part time gig ever!!
-- Not2dingy!, 2025-06-27

### ****- "Real job"
I got pay when I accept the assignment to take a video for the event. Sometime it works and sometime don’t get pay. Not always get paid and all about luck and if they buy your video.
-- MakeEasy$$$$, 2025-05-21

### ***** "Great stuff!"
I like the app. The only thing I don’t care for is that Stringr doesn’t share who bought the videos. That’s my only complaint other than that. Great stuff.
-- wxchaser00, 2025-04-19

### *---- "Love this app!"
I have sold so many videos using this app. It’s easy to use and a great way to make extra money!
-- Family2734, 2025-03-20

### *---- "Good luck getting paid!"
I did a job for Stringr and they guaranteed payment. It’s been a month and no payment. Don’t waste your time .
-- Noeld, 2025-01-10

### *---- "Avoid, waste of your valuable time, plz read why"
There is not much to say. When you open app there is a feel already like it is not finished and something is missing.

Avoid if you think you can actually make money and they will pay you. Not true. Platform operates on the way will pay out all expenses upfront to do a gig - meaning going on location uploading video, using your data plan, equipment and time. AND NOT GET PAID!

Yes you can record video on the phone. If you have nothing to do and waste your time not get compensated this is app for you.

Compensation is steep and is average same. It shows upfront, does not say you. ay not get paid, but there Is a button misleading you when you click because it says ACCEPT.

You accept the gig, and your expenses out pf your pocket started. Stringer sit and wait you upload your footage. Not sure if they are selling this to stations or actually someone ordering this.

Strange thing is if someone ordering gig it should be obligated to buy if everything is ok with footage technically, right? - wrong, you can still not get paid.

Task is to do local news such as record location - shooting in the city or house on fire or water brake etc

I got notification at 3AM? - you may think ok I will get my earnings, nope, so essentially if Stringer cannot sell material both of you Stringer and creator does not get paid. You get $40 for the gig on average and who knows how much is Stringer selling this for.

I thought is news outlet doing this platform and myself working in industry for life price is ok. I did not expect this scam and rip off nonsense.

i have 30+ years of professional experience in numerous fields and owning production companies so my work not just having price but i have people trust in my work that being said i know i can deliver footage.

I did two gigs on Stringer platform - did not get paid for one.

Never got reason so i send feedback as this was the only way to see if this platform has folks behind working.

There were classic excuses replied but notably they said footage is excellent. wow so why I wasn’t paid? - no clue. rep told me they will ask buyer to pay me as curtesy for my first upload!? - I don’t need that, just fair and square doing business. on the other hand it just proofing my points and suspicions.

Now, truth to be told ‘buyer’ who order gig did not purchase my footage for unknown reason. But i was told that buyer is allowed to do that!? - really. what about creator?

Stringer is not listed as stock gallery platform! - where you ate
