WHAT IT TRAINS • Mental math and quick estimation • Processing speed — the cognitive function that slows first with age • Decision-making confidence under time pressure • Numerical reasoning and approximation • Carryover skills for daily judgment calls WHY ESTIMATION MATTERS Mental estimation is the cognitive shortcut behind nearly every quick decision — should I leave now to make the appointment, can I afford this purchase, will this fit in the trunk, how long until I need to refill. When this skill slows down, daily life becomes more effortful even when no individual decision is hard. Estimation training is one of the most consistently responsive areas of cognitive training. Most users report subjective improvements within 2–4 weeks of consistent practice. WHO IT'S FOR • Adults 50+ wanting to maintain quick judgment • Concussion and TBI recovery • Professionals who make rapid decisions under pressure • Students preparing for timed assessments • Anyone who wants their inner calculator to work faster THE SCIENCE Strong Mind Estimator is built on the same three-pillar model — Attention, Intention, Rehearsal — that anchors Dr. Markus's broader work. The exercises are hierarchical, with progressive difficulty designed to push processing speed at the edge of current capacity. ABOUT THE DEVELOPER Dr. Donalee Markus has practiced cognitive restructuring since 1983 and is featured in Clark Elliott's "The Ghost in My Brain." ## Strong Mind Estimator Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/1f/97/18/1f971831-72ce-6963-3689-207f6074013d/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/eb/d1/f2/ebd1f2f3-b081-c72d-6334-91113d66ee19/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/72/cb/08/72cb0822-2c61-8c1f-b7da-535c9df73d31/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/78/bb/65/78bb653f-c89f-250e-7394-841fac756f87/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/64/11/ee/6411ee81-6ce4-4ae8-55a1-c6fd82e0270a/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/e5/b3/c2/e5b3c28d-2fb3-1009-fa01-2cb67a40b224/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/4f/87/f3/4f87f31d-6505-2c34-7fe0-bdfc2ed1a17b/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/57/df/83/57df8382-fa78-f4d1-bf8a-4e51520b9be4/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/15/7d/41/157d4119-2266-4f6f-5271-f7d66cb626fb/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) ## Strong Mind Estimator Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 0 (0%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (100%) ## Apps Similar to Strong Mind Estimator - [Non-verbal Reasoning Questions](https://apptail.io/app/non-verbal-reasoning-questions-Szfd/united-states) - [Catch of the Day: Search](https://apptail.io/app/catch-of-the-day-search-ZKEd/united-states) - [The IQ Test](https://apptail.io/app/the-iq-test-qobe/united-states) - [Memory Challenge!](https://apptail.io/app/memory-challenge-hRje/united-states) - [Unicorn Letters](https://apptail.io/app/unicorn-letters-lQNe/united-states) - [Making Camp Premium](https://apptail.io/app/making-camp-premium-oCQf/united-states) - [Executive Functions](https://apptail.io/app/executive-functions-RKej/united-states) - [TenseBuilder](https://apptail.io/app/tensebuilder-qHbl/united-states) - [Expressive Builder](https://apptail.io/app/expressive-builder-uHbl/united-states) - [iCept Testing](https://apptail.io/app/icept-testing-Xfcl/united-states) ## Strong Mind Estimator Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/canada) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/egypt) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/india) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/south-korea) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/nigeria) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/saudi-arabia) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/brazil) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/strong-mind-estimator-tIxl/vietnam) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
