Through a combination of advanced sensor technology and an automated training ecosystem, you will be given your personalized & optimal training routine, stride-by-stride guidance during every run, and in-depth insights that help all runners, from beginners to Olympic champions, regularly push their running performance to the next level.

New to Stryd? This app requires the Stryd pod in order to use the app.
Already have Stryd? You can sign in with your Stryd account, pair your pod, and get started with the app.

Perfect Pacing During Every Run:

Stryd accounts for your speed, slope, run form, fatigue, and wind to deliver perfect, precise, and painless pacing. This is accomplished with the Stryd pod. The pod is filled with motion & environmental sensors that comprehensively determine your running effort in nearly every running condition. With this info, you can evenly pace every run, which means you get the performance enhancing benefits from each training session — without undue fatigue.

Sweet Spot Training Every Day:

Stryd learns who you are as a runner and then prescribes daily training that is personalized to your current fitness. Next, you can import these workouts on your sportswatch and receive stride-by-stride guidance so you run at the right performance-enhancing intensity from start to finish. You stay in the training sweet spot, where you are perfectly balancing stress and rest, so that you receive the maximal benefits from each session and continue to improve.

Automated Insights That Keep You Improving:

Stryd analyzes and compares your similar training sessions against each other to let you know how your fitness is trending. You will know how much your recent training is paying off if you are moving in the right direction. If there is an opportunity to do better, you can quickly identify if you need to update your routine so you can keep the improvements coming.

Stryd plans your perfect race for you. Note that, Stryd uses GPS in the background to track your running distance and pace, and continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. Stryd also integrates with the Health app in order to get access to the heart rate data from Apple Watch.

Additionally, Stryd integrates with Apple Health. This allows Stryd to automatically update your weight, access your heart rate data, and save activity data to your Health app.

### ***-- "Stryd should be able to be more robust"
App gets stuck all the time
Lacks versatility in training plan management

I really want my power data but for now have to rely on workout outdoors which does not get stuck with my Apple Watch when my AirPods connect to the watch or the phone. Stryd blames it on Apple but how come another app can do it?

Also the fact that one cannot schedule a training plan that starts in the past is mind blowing! And that there is no way to move or delete portions of a training plan in bulk.

I love having workout data for trail running and wanted to have some information on form to help prevent injury. I was excited to see this app combined with their pods. I bought two pods so I could get better data on my form. 
However, the app is really clunky. It takes a minimum of 4 menus/icons to just start a workout and it often doesn’t work as expected.  It is so inconsistent, I don’t trust the data I get. Great concept, poor execution.

I signed out, signed in, unpaired Stryd device, tried to pair. App does not recognize the device. For no apparent reason it will suddenly recognize. Then not when I am going for a run. Bluetooth is on, orange light blinking. Nothing. Not worth the cost for the device or subscription. To improve: create a on/off button on the device.

### ***-- "Apple Watch Crashes Constantly"
I’ve had Stryd for a few years. I use it about 4-5 times per week. The app on the Apple Watch Ultra is frustrating to say the least. If you pause the run, say you’re doing a run / row then it will typically crash out and you lose the data. Especially if you try to use another app to record the row portion. 

For just runs, the app doesn’t allow you to trim the run down, and isn’t smart enough to pause automatically. In the winter I do a lot of running on a treadmill. Turns out when I finish sprints I can’t really hit stop, it takes a minute or two. Then the mile times are longer because of the walking. If I stop running and forget to hit stop, I’ll get a ridiculous mile times. 

The worst part is after the run is completed it will not upload. I have to close the app, re open it. The second time you open it the app always freezes and then finally crashes. Reopen the app one more time, then it will finally upload the run. It’s been this way for a year or more. 

Fix the app, fix the simple auto pause or trim run, that will lead to 5 star reviews.

If you really care about smoothing out wind altitude hills and HR which can spike w stress or even coffee this is your tool.  If met the founder at the Boston Marathon expo and I’ve used it ever since.  I recently upgraded to Generation 2 Dual pods.

This is a good app, but it could be amazing with a few seemingly small improvements. Stryd support says, from the phone app, I can change the incline by swiping up from the bottom of the screen during a workout. When I do this, though, I do not see any incline control within the phone app. If I want to change incline, I have only been able to do it from the watch. I would like this functionality within the phone app so I can use the phone as my complete treadmill dashboard. It would also be great to have HR on the phone app, not only the watch. Thanks!

With Stryd, I understand my body and physical mechanics better, it makes me know reasonable goals I can achieve, so that I can accumulate enough fatigue but avoid over training. Besides, the Stryd community is a helpful group, with runners and coaches brimming with knowledge and experience, and you’re always welcome to ask questions and share your thoughts and opinions.

I’ve been using Stryd for over 3 years now. The footpod works well enough, although its total distance and speed numbers are less accurate than GPS estimates from an iPhone. Its connection to my Apple Watch works well. However, the recent update to this iPhone app is buggy and removes important functionality. The iPhone app has never been good for inspecting individual runs because the interface is so limited. I have to use the power center website for that. Instead, the iPhone app was previously good for quickly seeing my running progress over a week, a month, or longer. I could even take screenshots to share with friends since Stryd doesn’t have a social component of its own. However, the app summary is now limited to showing one week at a time. This removes the most useful functionality of the app. The new summary widget is also buggy. It sometimes cuts off the tops of its display of the weekly numbers for power, distance, etc. This happens when expanding or collapsing the summary view. Please bring back multi-week and multi-month summary views.
