## STV News Reviews in United Kingdom

### **--- "Small font after last update"
The dynamic type option to make font bigger has been removed in latest update. Now the font is very small with no option to change size when you read any news or sports story.

Why remove a basic accessibility feature for people that use and need larger font sizes. 👎🏻
-- Hoopy81, 2024-11-29

### *---- "Doesn’t work anymore"
Crashes on opening
-- Mr Irv, 2024-10-19

### *---- "Not available?"
Is it just me or is anyone else finding that the STV app just won’t work any more? Has something changed that I’m maybe unaware of? Thanks for any advice!
-- Moyra57, 2024-08-19

### **--- "Keeps crashing"
Since the most recent update, the app will not open and crashes. Phone goes back to home screen.
-- Credited, 2024-07-29

### *---- "Won’t open"
The app used to open no problem, but recently it won’t open at all …..
-- D33 ice, 2024-07-01

### ***-- "OK - but …. Often out of date or the news links fail"
Mostly works ok but on a lot of occasions when clicking on a story link it frustratingly leads to a completely different story.
Today for example when clicking on any one of the Edinburgh story links, the story that opens is about photoshopping on the Queen’s photos which has absolutely nothing to do with the initial story clicked.

The news stories are also often slow to update and you often find that the area/regional news sections remain populated with old stories for several days after the event, which lets STV news down and doesn’t make the app a go to source for Scottish news.
-- Tomaso17, 2024-03-19

### *---- "Stupidly inaccurate"
Constantly click on a story only to open the one below, really not good enough.
-- Ebsudsy, 2024-03-16

### *---- "New version won’t open"
Was a good app until version 5.9. Won’t open on my iPhone 12, despite uninstalling and reinstalling in case the update hadn’t loaded properly.
-- Si d man, 2023-12-15

### *---- "Adverts"
Sorry but I’ve had to remove this app from my phone. Items interspersed with adverts all over the place. So frustrating.
-- Brandyfife, 2023-12-14

### **--- "App no longer responsive"
Yes, on beta 17.2
-- Lucky Gadget, 2023-11-11
