I find this app terrific for packing for trips and working out what I actually wear in my wardrobe. I also love being able to assess new purchases to see if I could wear them with other items and make outfits. Still no syncing across devices. And also I’d love it if you could delete items but they wouldn’t disappear from the past calendar entries.
I love this app for planning outfits from existing items, but the thing I find it most useful for is when planning to buy something new. I can save a photo of the item to my closet, and see how it will work with existing items in my wardrobe. It’s also super useful for planning what to pack for trips away, and to see how everything can mix and match. It can even give you a checklist of items to pack! One thing that is super annoying though, is that you cannot sync your Stylebook between devices. You have to load and share everything.
Functionality is great but there’s the obvious flaw of not being able to sync across devices. You can copy items to another device over WiFi but it’s clunky and time consuming. Would be good to add a “where purchased” rather than just brand. And could do with a bit more user generated flexibility.
Good for sorting clothes and suck but unsure as to why I was randomly billed 10 bucks when I didn’t buy anything on this app.
I have been using Stylebook many years and have frequently asked for automatic syncing across devices. Today I accidentally deleted the app on my iPad and lost everything 🤬
I have been recommending this app to everyone. Only minor issue is the editing tool isn’t the best. I downloaded an external photo editor app and then import the edited pics into this app. So great for planning outfits!!!! I love the calendar feature as well.
I spent ages importing photos, changed phones and they are all gone. It needs a background remover with grunt to make more user friendly. Need to be able to bulk import and tag items.
Love this app so much - would be great if you could make a widget so I could see my daily outfit on my Home Screen without having to click into the app several times
TLDNR: Great value for money, its an investment getting this app I highly recommend.It takes a while to upload all your items so it may not be fully functional at first but it’s worth the effort in the end, also, just make sure you make it a habit logging what you wear every day to get the most out of this app. I have used stylebook for over a year nearly 2 years now and it really shows me what I actually wear. It helps me keep my spending under control when I see I have new clothes I haven’t worn at all. it motivates me seeing what awesome outfits I can put together and It’s great being able to look back at a month and see when special events happened and what I wore that day.
I spent a good amount of time uploading my full wardrobe (the app actually has great ideas for how you can do this without taking a huge chunk of time all at once) I love having it on my phone for quick access when out shopping or I see someone wearing an outfit I could wear & quickly make it in my looks section. One day when I was looking through the ideas section I saw that they used an iPad in their wardrobe for Stylebook. I now have an iPad and went to go load stylebook on it only to realise it doesn’t sync between devices. I had to send all my clothing items and looks over to my iPad and now realising it won’t work as well having 2 different “versions” on each device. Wish they could do this as it is a paid app.
