Finding a place where things feel a bit less rapid, where people actually come here to READ, it’s pretty amazing. It’s even beautiful and I’m enjoying it more and more as I go deeper. The possibilities to tell stories (we are all story tellers) it’s so gratifying when this also involves creating community.

So many great authors on substack. Too bad the app developers have chosen to make it a giant tool for annoying email spam notifications OR nag you constantly in the app for notifications. I don’t want my attention stolen and diverted like this - respect that. Stop popping up requesting I turn on notifications. It’s gross and annoying and there’s no way to turn it off. It’s completely antithetical to what they preach as a business.
When adding a new subscription, this app freezes on iPhone, necessitating offloading and reinstalling every time.
With so much censorship of digital media, it’s nice to know I can get my news from an honest source. Thank you for your time.
