I was looking for something for my elderly (and very hard of hearing) mother-in-law to play while in the hospital but the ads were too frustrating for her. I downloaded this app maybe 7-8 years ago. The ads were not that bad. Now, I feel like I can’t even play the game because I’m watching an ad every 10 seconds. I just downloaded onto my new phone & all I’ve done is watch ads in the few minutes I’ve sat here hoping to do some sudoku. What I like about the game is that it’s customizable in the appearance & other things. It’s easy to focus on each number you’re working on throughout the puzzle. But the ads just make me feel ridiculous trying to play this. I suckered down & thought let’s just buy it but at $20??! I’d rather buy an actual sudoku book. I feel like the creator took a great game & made it purely about monetary gain.
