Pleased to say that my concern (and that of others) has been addressed and I can honestly say that it’s the best no frills (my preference) Sudoku app out there. 

[Old review] Paid to have an ad-free experience ages ago in what was truly a five-star game. How are these ads for a subscription popping up all the time not some form of advertising? Looking elsewhere at the moment but will check every now and then to see if this abomination is gone.

I have newer switched to the paid-membership-customize-everything model, thanks to reviews. I purchased the game once to not see the adds and happily playing since then. It has everything i need: the right amount of color, adding “draft” numbers, logically solvable puzzles, etc. I always playing “hard.” somehow “expert” often gets me in a dead end situations where I have to guess and then calculate my future steps to see if it’s a pass forward or wrong guess

Unfortunately, with all of the ads, this game isn’t as good as it used to be. you can’t do any of the features on a phone because it crams everything off screen to fit in the ads. I used to enjoy trying to beat my high score. none of your data transfers between your iPhone and your iPad so the user account is pointless
