Twice now and possibly more I’ve had payments come out my linked card saying ‘sumup pay £…’ I’ve paid a certain amount but when going onto sumup there’s no sign of that amount on there. I’ve reported this twice and heard nothing back. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

One thing which is not clear is that if you have any balance, you can’t transfer this back to your own personal bank account.

Trying to pay a tradesman to fit a boiler and he can’t start work until the payment goes through. So I’m without hot water because this stupid app doesn’t work. Says my card is American even though it is a Halifax Mastercard. No information. Only support is an email address which doesn’t respond. Useless.

Was offered £5 off a bill if I signed up for the app instead of checking out as a guest and was still charged the full amount without being able to make any changes! 

NOT impressed. 

Would have just used another payment app or my bank.
