It’s actually quite fun. I’ve been playing for a couple days now and love it. Progression is great, especially during the early game. You unlock new buildings that actually makes you want to buy and add them to your city to grow it. Also another thing that is appreciated: No ads are forced. You only watch ads if you want an in-game power up for some time. The fact that ads aren’t forced just makes me want to watch them to support the dev. There is no grinding for bills either (the more valuable currency in the game). You can simply earn them by completing tasks and collecting them randomly when they pop-up in your city. Also, the design of this game is great. I get the sense that it’s a new game (or maybe not idk), and there is room for development. Not in a bad way, though, the game is complete as is. I’d like to see another camera feature that allows you to zoom out without also orienting your top-down view simultaneously, sort of like how SimCity: Build It’s camera is like. Also, I think the money collection in the game is a bit too passive. The only way to passively earn money is by making your city bigger and adding businesses. I think utilizing the Town Hall as a tax collection-hub would be cool. So the more businesses you add, the more taxes are payed to the Town Hall in which you collect there. There isn’t much downside, other than there could be more depth to some features, but I get the sense that it’s a more casual city builder than others, and that’s okay, it’s still quite fun.
