The Fancy Pants Adventures series started over ten years ago by Brad Borne, an indie developer who wanted to redefine video game platforming by making speed and tight controls feel compatible. So, I downloaded this game about 2 years ago and I had so much fun playing it. I’m a hardcore fan of this entire series, and this is the best game in it. If you like platforming games, sonic, Metroidvanias, or Mario, than you’ll have a blast. This is a very fancy game and 10000% worth your money. I am probably carried by nostalgia because I grew up with these games, but still get it now.

This is one of the most fun games I have ever had on my iPad please make a super fancy pants edvencher 2 I’m only 8 so I’m sorry if I spell stuff wrong. Ok I’m ten now and I still love this game but I have one problem. The controls. My only problem with the controls is that they keep shifting from place to place thus making me miss the buttons when I’m trying to run or jump or do anything I can’t do that because the controls have warped into the shadow realm. Please make it so the controls aren’t so shifty

### ****- "Minor issues hold back what is otherwise a solid platforming experience."
I’m going to be brief. I loved the first two worlds as a child and 100%ed world 3 a while back (I just came back from 100%ing this one, too!) and I feel that this game is a great step forward which makes me excited for the future of this series. However, there are a few minor issues I would like to note:

1. The controls are still a little rough around the edges. 

I saw some earlier reviews noting the small buttons and greatly appreciate the option to enlarge them, but the fix wasn’t perfect in my opinion. The dynamic controls were difficult to work with, and made the control scheme feel incredibly cluttered.
I personally would have preferred to be able to lock my controls in place, and recommend adding it as a separate option in the settings. 

2. Jumping after an inkdash is very frustrating.

This is a minor mechanic in this game, so it doesn’t really hurt the experience too much, but I’m still putting this here in case it becomes more important in world 5. The main issue is that in the challenge room dedicated to it, I’d struggle to land the jump because a single bullet would shoot out of my pen and kill the enemy I was trying to jump off of. 
To fix this, I’d recommend adding a short windup period on the pen’s autofire to avoid this, and potentially extending the timing window a bit as well. The dynamic controller made this more annoying than it would’ve been alone, so this shouldn’t really take too much to fix. 

3. Some minor bugs in the last two levels.

I noticed some frame dropping on on Volcano Approach, and also experienced a strange bug where fancy pants man’s collision detection somehow desynced with his sprite. I think the frame drops had to do with the rotating wheel rocks, and the desync happened right after I jumped on a spring to a different layer. 

I also had the final level bug out in such a way that the cutscene before the final boss bugged out and gave me an error report. Your guess is as good as mine on that one, so... good luck?

2. The arcade machines in the bathtub tower cause severe frame drops when navigating the menus, though the levels themselves are fine.

That’s everything off the top of my head, really. Well done, and I’ll see you in world 5!

i have always been a fan of fancy pants playing it on flash game websites when i was younger... and this game gives me a huge nostalgic feeling! but may i suggest something? i think you should be able to upgrade ink capacity with ice cream as well as health and strength. the ink always runs out fast and the game gets really hard when you cant ink dash.
