Super Meat Boy Forever è ambientato qualche anno dopo gli eventi di Super Meat Boy. Meat Boy e Bandage Girl hanno vissuto felici senza Dr. Fetus per parecchio tempo e ora hanno una bellissima bambina di nome Nugget. Nugget è la gioia in persona e rappresenta tutto per Meat Boy e Bandage Girl. Un giorno, mentre i nostri eroi stanno facendo un picnic, Dr. Fetus spunta fuori dal nulla, tramortisce con una pala Meat Boy e Bandage Girl e rapisce Nugget! Quando i nostri eroi si riprendono e scoprono che Nugget è scomparsa, sanno chi cercare. Si rimboccano le maniche e decidono di non fermarsi fino a quando non avranno salvato Nugget e dato a Dr. Fetus una sonora lezione, che può essere impartita solamente a suon di pugni e calci.
 
 Il gameplay impegnativo di Super Meat Boy torna in Super Meat Boy Forever. I livelli sono brutali, la morte è inevitabile e, dopo aver superato un livello, i giocatori proveranno quell'inconfondibile sensazione di soddisfazione mista ad appagamento per aver corso, saltato e sferrato calci e pugni in scenari familiari e mondi totalmente nuovi.
 
 Cosa c'è di meglio che completare una volta Super Meat Boy Forever? La risposta è semplice: completare Super Meat Boy Forever più volte affrontando ogni volta nuovi livelli. I livelli sono generati casualmente e ogni volta che il gioco viene completato compare l'opzione per giocare nuovamente, che genera un'esperienza completamente nuova con livelli diversi, ognuno con i propri luoghi unici. Abbiamo creato a mano migliaia di livelli (letteralmente) che i giocatori potranno affrontare e completare.
