SuperEcho is a pure memory game built around pattern and rhythm. Watch the grid light up in sequence — then echo it back, in order, one tap at a time. Every correct round adds one more step to the sequence. There's no ceiling. Just how far you can go before the signal breaks.

HOW IT WORKS

A sequence of cells lights up across a 4×4 grid. Each cell has its own colour and its own tone. Watch carefully. Then replay the exact sequence from memory. Get it right and the sequence grows by one. Miss a single tap and it's game over.

It sounds simple. It isn't.

FEATURES

Growing sequences — The pattern starts at one and grows without limit. Your personal best is saved between sessions.
Synesthetic feedback — Every cell has a unique phosphor colour and a distinct musical tone from a pentatonic scale. Colour, sound and position all reinforce each other.
Echo Tape — A live visualiser tracks the current sequence chip by chip as it plays back, so you can anchor each step spatially before you tap.
Score + streak system — Earn points based on sequence length. Build streaks across consecutive successful rounds.
Tactile haptics — Precise haptic feedback on every tap, with distinct patterns for correct answers, mistakes and round completions.
Synthesised audio — All tones are generated in real time using an audio engine tuned for clarity and low latency. Mute with one tap — the game works silently too.
iPad layout — On iPad, the interface expands into a three-column view: vertical echo tape on the left, the grid in the centre, and a synesthetic key showing each note name and frequency on the right.
Dark neon aesthetic — High-contrast phosphor-on-black visuals with a CRT scanline overlay and dot grid background. Designed to look as good as it plays.

TIPS

Let the tones do half the work — the melody of the sequence is often easier to remember than the visual pattern alone.
Watch the Echo Tape, not just the grid. The chip sequence gives you a second spatial layer to lock in.
The longer the sequence, the more points each correct round awards. Prioritise streaks.
SuperEcho is a single-player, offline game. No ads, no in-app purchases, no account required.
