Downloaded after watching a few tutorials. Very impressed with what you can achieve on a phone. The jpeg file is pretty good when saved. Best of all, no subscription and a low price. The canvas size is a limitation if you want to make large prints at 300ppi - 6000 x 4000 would be great.

One of the best I have used

This is one of the best app I have used. I’m using it for last 5 years now and done all my basic jobs.

Easy & Fun

Why get photoshop when you can get this app

Very good - even for a novice

Bigaitch64 on

I hunted high and low for an app to assist with rearranging and blending photos and plumped in the end for SuperimposeX. It appears to be an inspired choice. The amount of different functions are endless and what is also good are the tutorials. I am a real novice and a bit of a technophobe but the tutorial videos are explained in a clear and concise manner without being patronising. The actual functions are demonstrated online showing exactly what button you need to press and the desired effect it has as well as explaining the glossary of terminology used. I have just successfully blended two pictures together of the same spot taken neatly forty years apart and am now hatching plans as to what I can do next. I really cannnot recommend this highly enough.

Does what it says on the tin, inexpensive, intuitive and not too expensive. Built in tutorials if you need help. Use it for my cover art all the time.

PS will always be better.

This app is good, and has a lot of features. The dev obviously has a good knowledge of that side of writing an app. However… the GUI is terrible. Almost to the point of being unusable. It’s hard work to find the function I need, and even on an iPad it’s too fiddly to get anywhere near accurate. Even with a stylus, it’s next to impossible. I just end up sending the photo to my PC and editing on that. Whoever invented the mouse needs a gold medal!!! The app also seriously needs an instruction manual. One that’s built into the app. Not one that’s somewhere on the internet. Give me PS and I can do almost anything with a photo. But this app just leaves me angry, and wondering why I bothered to open it.

Love this app, BUT..

I generally think this app is great and it is one of my favourite editing apps for mobile. However, I keep having problems with PNGs and low pixel/dimension images. A lot of PNGs, especially "small" ones, will constantly have a white background instead of transparent which is annoying. I use the "paste" feature – which allows the background to be transparent but always cuts off the image!!!
