I linked to another article to be informed that I had reached my limit of free articles and that it resets in three days unless I wished to pay £3.99 per month which makes this app effectively useless. It’s a shame as I used to like catching up with local Surrey news. -- Foofighterfan66, 2026-09-08 ### **--- "Bearable until they started charging" Very average journalism, and slightly buggy at times, but a nice way of quickly checking what was going on around the area. However, now having to pay to see the articles (some free allowance not specified) but the website, with ads, is free. The change has been very poorly communicated. App now deleted. -- H 5, 2026-08-27 ### *---- "App deleted" Surrey live have started charging £3.99 for using their app. So, it’s bye bye app. -- Fat man racing, 2026-08-22 ### ****- "Very good local news" Very good news but the Surrey App doesn’t often work properly as it can be very slow or interpreted. -- Saad Thomas, 2026-06-22 ### *---- "Sick of the spam" This used to be a good app, the same as the online versions, yet lately there is just constant spam or absolute rubbish click bait being peddled -- K3V_L4W, 2025-04-17 ### *---- "Don’t waste your time" Awful app, adverts for clickbait get in the way of ‘stories’. Too many ‘Opinions’ and sponsored reviews, journalism is very poor, bad spelling and use of language. Questionable GDPR maintenance by Reach PLC, it’s not about local news, it’s about advertising revenue for Reach. Avoid and get local news elsewhere -- Stusurrey, 2024-12-05 ### ***** "Modern times" I cant believe the amount of news - its crazy! -- forgx, 2023-04-21 ### *---- "Appalling GDPR rights policy" This has got to be up there with some of the most appalling apps for infringement of individual rights, it’s nigh on impossible to deselect all the vendor consent options making it verging on rights infringement. Decided not to sign up to these draconian policies. -- Scouser38, 2022-07-24 ### *---- "Surrey live review" Every time something new comes up on my phone I cannot retrieve it. It comes up ‘refresh’. I push the refresh button and nothing happens. Very disappointed PT F 1 -- Pat F 1, 2022-05-06 ### *---- "Doesn’t work" Looked interesting. Trying to create an account consistently resulted in “an unknown error occurred” with no suggestion how to continue. -- BruceCx1, 2021-09-26 [View all Surrey Live reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Surrey Live In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Monthly | £3.99 | | Yearly | £35.99 | ## Surrey Live Discovered Keywords -
