## Sutara Reviews in United States

### *---- "Also had a billing fraud"
I purchased a subscription with a trial and I was charged TWICE for it. One for a year and one for a monthly fee. I emailed support, and I’m clearly speaking to AI because they keep telling me I bought two subscriptions THE SAME DAY. I only did one transaction, but two subscriptions were created. This is definitely a fraud scheme, and getting a refund has been a nightmare.
-- Nadia67395, 2026-09-14

### ***** "Beautiful Stories"
It’s become a ritual not unlike my mom used to read me bed time stories. The narrator has the most soothing voice and the lesson from the story is deep. I look forward to my wind down at the end of my day.
-- amo22603, 2026-09-14

### *---- "Scam, don’t waste your money"
First they promise you a free trial. Then they upsell you to get real content. Then they upsell you again to get anything worthwhile.

Total scam, don’t waste your money.
-- saadsaadsaadsaadsaad, 2026-09-11

### ***** "Fraud"
Takes your money without subscribing. I did not subscribe to this app. All I did was answer some questions and it started taking money out of my account. I don’t know how to stop. Apple won’t help. It is coming out of my Apple wallet but Apple has no record of it. I don’t know who to turn. It has taken 35.00 so far how much more will it take. Apple is full of fraud and scammers staring with Apple.
-- ladyrb98, 2026-09-05

### *---- "Thieves!!"
They made several charges after I cancelled the "free" trial! Ended up paying over $60 and there is no refund or support. I could never get the app to open.
-- pogobecs, 2026-09-04

### *---- "Billed couple of times…"
I really like this concept but I got duped with the transactions. Multiple times…
-- l1fe2liv3, 2026-09-03

### *---- "Dan f"
Awful- especially for a Buddhist app. They’re charging extra money after their initial $29.99 charge in July. Now they’re charging me $24.99 and $39.99 in August just a few days apart
-- Dfrog2, 2026-08-08

### *---- "Misleading Subscription System"
This app has a confusing subscription system with multiple plans. I thought I had canceled my subscription, but I only canceled the yearly plan and was still being charged for the monthly plan. That kind of setup is misleading and makes it far too easy for users to continue paying unintentionally. Apps with confusing subscription practices like this should not be allowed on the platform.
-- Dhwilson, 2026-07-29

### *---- "Be warned billing is a scam"
Be aware that even if you pay for the subscription initially through the App Store, they automatically enroll you in additional subscriptions that have to be cancelled via the website. Cancelling through the App Store doesn’t make a difference and they’ll hit you for $80 in additional subscriptions even if you cancel through the App Store before the trial period is up. Total scam.
-- i<3gp, 2026-07-28

### *---- "SCAM"
They mislead you. Charged my account $39.99 a month, 3 times, and wouldn’t let me cancel my subscriptions. Had to call my bank to report the fraudulent charges. That’s not even what I signed up for. Disgusting. Worthless app and stories.
-- Erin Porter, 2026-07-22

### *---- "Weirdly charging with no connection"
All of a sudden, I’m being charged for a subscription I don’t even have
-- Mnm22222awesome boo, 2026-07-21

### *---- "Pithy"
Not what I expected. The ‘teachings’ are shallow and offer no insights to me. I wish I had not subscribed for a year.
-- mfr5, 2026-07-18

### *---- "Complete Scam"
Signed up for free trial and after exploring the app I decided to cancel the trial subscription. Found out later (similar to others) I had been signed up for two different subscriptions despite getting confirmations they were cancelled. Took 3 emails to get a response from the support team and then 4 more emails repeatedly asking for a refund which I should not have had to do given the fact that I cancelled the trial subscription. This company is a scam and is not in line with Buddhist teachings.
-- Chad Hewitt, 2026-07-15

### ***-- "Listener"
I was hoping they would add new stories every month. It seems the content creators gave up on the app.
-- Mary listen, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Still be charged after canceling"
I canceled my subscription in May, with a cancellation date of May 31. Was charged again in June with a new cancellation date of July 31st.

I cancelled the subscription within the application and I’m still being charged. What do I have to do to make it stop?
-- debalaw365, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Beware!"
Despite canceling my subscription multiple times, this company continues to charge my credit card (caught by my bank).

Very sad these practices hide behind the Buddhist image and practices.

Shame on you all.
-- Disgusted Buddha, 2026-07-08

### *---- "Scam! Beware!"
This app charges you a renewal subscription even after you cancel. Do not download and do not give them your CC info!!!
-- Spirit Matt, 2026-07-08

### *---- "DO NOT BUY!!!!"
I would rate them negative if possible. Their billing practices are misleading and they will continue to bill you once you cancel. Worst Ponzi scheme EVER!!
-- dfincal, 2026-07-02

### **--- "Move the button"
I tried purchasing the subscription but the text at the bottom blocks the continue button and i cant get past the screen because of it. I recommend fixing the screen so the button is more accessible.
-- litch dragon, 2026-06-29

### *---- "A rip off"
I clicked on an add on instagram and they claimed a 6 day money back guarantee. I clicked ok and didn’t like the app. I cancelled it same day and now I have been charged $39.99 twice!! This feels like a scam and it’s so crazy it comes in the form of Buddhism. The app definitely uses AI for the voice and the stories aren’t that great. Give me money back please!! All $60 you took!
