For basic operation, the clock is pretty cool and the size is very convenient, especially for personal use. The app is a little clunky but mostly because the Instruction Manual you can only find with the QR code (don’t lose it) mostly deals with the physical operation of the clock and is not very detailed regarding the app. Needs more videos to teach navigation in the app. When you sync a clock and start a practice with the app, they are synced but if you shrink the app on your phone to do something else with the phone, the practice on the phone pauses while the actual pace clock continues. So, when you return to the app it’s clock and the pace clock are dramatically different. I will continue to play with it. I give 5 stars for the hardware and 3 stars for the software. -- PopularApollo13, 2025-06-27 ### **--- "Needs a big update" There’s a bunch of issues. Can’t connect to the clock for one. Can’t see characters when typing. Can’t do basically anything on it cuz the app is almost bricked. Used it for a while when I first got it but now there’s a ton of issues -- exccigames, 2021-07-30 ### *---- "Can’t type" When I type in anything in this app, it doesn’t show up. I have an iPhone 11, fully updated. App is updated. Cannot see any text when entering my email or password or when I type in sets. -- MrEricHills, 2021-03-05 ### ***-- "Issues" I have some issues with not being able to see the numbers while typing in times, dates etc. I have the iPhone 11 and all updates. This has been going on since March. -- coachnulph, 2020-07-06 ### ***** "SwimNerd on AppleWatch" Any plans to make app for AppleWatch? -- Zimm3287, 2020-04-22 ### ***** "Alper JCC Miami & Swim Nerd" We're big fans of Swim Nerd here at the Alper JCC in Miami. We started a brand new Aquatics department last year and Swim Nerd has been there ever step of the way as we grow. Thanks Nate 😎🌴🏊🏽‍♀️ - Derek J.
