## SwingTool Description
SwingTool can quickly and easily measure the swing weight of tennis racquets, golf clubs, baseball bats etc. Swing weight is the most important parameter when deciding how a racquet, club or bat feels when you swing it. Unfortunately measuring swing weight has been fairly complicated, until now. With SwingTool it is enough to just hang your equipment and let it swing like a pendulum. Place the iPhone close to the swinging end and it will automatically display the swing weight.

Characteristics
- Can be used for all types equipment
- Choose any point to calculate the swing weight at
- Choose any point to hang the equipment at (independent of the swing point)
- Faster and more accurate than the traditional way to measure swing weight
- Can be used to measure the swing time of any pendulum with 0.01 s accuracy

A demo video is available at appmaker.se/swingTool

To golfers: With this app you do MOI-matching i.e. it measures the real dynamic swing weight (moment of inertia). Not the static Lorythmic balance point (D9, C4 etc) that sometimes is called swing weight.

## SwingTool Reviews in United States

### *---- "App crashes"
App crashes upon opening. Doesn’t work. Apple should take off their approves app list site.
-- Tampa radio stinks, 2026-02-15

### ***** "Works really well!"
I downloaded this app because I wanted to tune my tennis racket without spending $300 on a swing weight machine. I found it to be very accurate and easy to use. However, the instructions on how to use it are lacking, so I recommend watching the only YouTube video that talks about this app to help you get started. Look for the video from the channel “No Limit Tennis” titled "How to Measure Swingweight Without a Machine." This should guide you through the setup process. Overall, I have been very pleased with the app!
-- KadeFili, 2025-09-07

### ***** "A nice addition for this tool"
Nice addition this tool would be to manually input seconds to check formula.
-- Drs95060, 2023-10-11

### ***** "Great value!"
Excellent inexpensive app for measuring swing weight of tennis racquets.
-- kcap6eoj, 2022-01-05

### ***-- "Okay"
When used properly I think it is pretty accurate but the app sometimes gives fluctuating swingweight numbers at times despite same numbers inputed
-- ygiri07, 2021-04-22

### *---- "Awful app"
It’s very hard to use and the error messages are not clear enough.
-- bunny 6779, 2020-08-23

### ***** "Swingweight App"
After constructing a stand to suspend racquets, I started using this application extensively. I then imported a swingweight machine from the UK. The readings where always close, but when averaged they where exactly the same! This application is outstanding!
-- Super-Vectors, 2019-05-08

### ***** "Awesome Tool"
This tool is much better than the what you have to go through on TW. I takes out the human error of counting precise seconds. ...very accurate.
-- fdc007, 2016-10-25

### ***** "Golf"
Just started to use the app. Think it may serve the purpose.
Wish there was more detailed info regarding golf club measurements. May just take time on my part-4 stars.
2nd post-spent a few hours with the Swingtool. Very repeatable and consistent. Contacted developer with questions regarding use and points of measure-received response next morning 5 stars.
-- Crl1955, 2016-06-20

### ****- "Benchmarks are very important"
This tool sets a reference point. When things change, measure again and compare to benchmark. Start here to eliminate variables that could be the cause.
