SwingVision Reviews

Amazing analytics of grand slams available to regular players

juarezlowe on

Malaysia

I love this app. Gives me a sense of how I’m playing as well as allows me to view the match in a short period. Swupnil and the team are great and very responsive.

Love this app

juarezlowe on

Malaysia

Swupnil, Richard and the team have a great app. 1. It cuts down the viewing time of your practice session by nearly 75-80% - a one hour session is cut down to below 10-15mins. 2. It allows you to review your mistakes - shots that have hit the net etc. 3. The numbers and stats were previously only available to pro players are now availlable to us mortals - i've been able to track my forehand speed especially when adding in rotation and weight transfer.

Amazing app! must try!

I cannot recommend highly enough. I recently started using this app and it's been a game changer for my tennis game. It uses some fancy tech to analyze every aspect of your game, like Serve speed, footwork, and more. Plus, you can watch your past matches in high-definition video, so you can see what you did right and what you need to work on. It's been super helpful for me, whether I'm just playing for fun or really trying to up my game. Go for it!

Speed not accurate at all

I bought a stick for better performance .without the hanging adapter the app itself wont work.

Awesome Idea…but has some crucial kinks

ctbwx on

United States

I’ve been able to get one good match setup, and once that happened the line calling and shot tracking is awesome. As a new player, I think this will help me increase much faster than not having game recording of myself. However, the setup process has a MASSIVE cognitive drag. I’ve tried all of the setup options… voice guided, remote device(with a macbook and another iphone), and apple watch setup, and all of them are painfully buggy and slow. The remote video connection is VERY unoptimized and has about a 3-4 second lag from you moving the device and what actually shows on the remote feed. The remote feed quality is either 240/480p resolution. These things are annoying but not show stoppers… but the thing that makes this unusable for me is that about 3/4 times the remote connection just completely drops, either with or without error messages. Meaning sometimes the remote display hangs and doesn’t respond at all making it literally useless, or it does actually show and error message and says to restart the remote connection. This applies to the apple watch too. This is with the latest apple watch and an iphone 14 and macbook pro 2019. All running latest OS. Then you have the auto voice guided setup which would solve all of this… except it literally doesn’t work, it just repeats “move device {enter direction here}” over and over and over. I move the device in that direction, and it just says it again. This is all with the official swing stick, their mounting device. So yeah bit of a bummer. Absolutely amazing idea that would be worth the premium subscription if it actually worked. But it just doesn’t. Will contact their tech support and see if something with just my devices—hopefully it is.

Great in theory

CalRS79 on

Great in theory but key stats/features are based on AI auto-scoring. In the 5 matches I have played auto scoring has not worked in 3. In 2 of them - after hours of editing and back and forth with customer service - I was able to somewhat correct and at least get stats. In the last one customer service has been no help and so no match stats available. Wish they had way to manually enter points or override auto scoring to see the most beneficial part of the app - your match stats and ability to filter points.

Great tool

will HHCCE on

I use this app all the time. It is such a great tool for getting data on my lessons and matches I play in. There is really nothing like it. I love getting my stats at the end of a match and seeing how many winners and unforced errors I hit. It can help any person improve their game. Can’t recommend swing vision enough.

I use this app to film all my tennis match, coming out of college I was a low 9 UTR, after I started filming my self and using swing vision to analyze my game I’ve jumped up to as high as 10.9. I am currently at 10.3 UTR. This app is a game charger for posting content online as well. It edits all the dead spots out and takes care of a lot of the trivial editing work I usually had to do. If you are looking to get better this is way to go! And hey maybe you’ll join me on YouTube and start posting your hitting sessions as well! - Dill Plays

Auto scoring is absolutely awful

Tennis player 14 on

United States

I love swing vision and all that it provides but I play a lot of matches and every time I do auto scoring it thinks it’s smarter than me and it doesn’t let me edit even though I was the one playing the match. All and all they should allow you to edit your matches freely without it fighting you and not allowing you.

Swingstick is trash, poor recording quality

RobeSchuler on

United States

swimgsting is so awful, it’s impossible to get it to stay in its original position, even if on an outtdoor fence. IF you get it mounted, it takes forever to line it up properly. the app itself is promising, but it takes too long as it has to be lined up perfectly. processing the video of you can get it to work takes too long too wish i could get my $ back, waste of time
