Die Kriterien und die anerkannten Stellen werden von den Rabbinern der Mitgliedgemeinden der IGfKL (Interessengemeinschaft für koschere Lebensmittel in der Schweiz) festgelegt. Bei der erstmaligen Nutzung der App muss der Nutzer entscheiden, welcher Gemeinde er folgen möchte. Diese Angabe sowie die Sprache können vom Benutzer geändert werden. Die folgenden Sprachen werden unterstützt: Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch. Die Kaschrut-Informationen werden von der IGfKL, Schweizer jüdischen Gemeinden und anerkannten Kaschrut-Behörden außerhalb der Schweiz bereitgestellt Die Artikel können nach Name, Produktfamilie oder Verteiler gesucht werden. Die App verfügt auch über einen Barcode-Reader, so dass Artikel über ihren Barcode gescannt werden können. Folgende Details können angezeigt werden: Produktname, Hersteller, Verteiler, Produktfamilie, Verpackung, Strichcode, Artikelnummer Haschgacha, eine Reihe von Koscher-Kriterien, Zutaten. Die App verfügt über eine Mittelungsfunktion, auf der Nachrichten über koschere Artikel angezeigt werden. Wenn Informationen fehlen, kann der Nutzer Produkte fotografieren, Barcodes scannen oder Textnachrichten eingeben, die von den Administratoren überprüft werden. Herausgeber der App sind der Schweizerische Israelitische Gemeindebund SIG und die Mitgliedsgemeinden der IGfKL. Die Koscherinformationen stammen von der IGfKL, den jüdischen Gemeinden und anerkannten Kaschrut Instanzen ausserhalb der Schweiz. Artikel können nach Name, Produktfamilie oder Hersteller gesucht werden. Ein Strichcodeleser ist integriert, damit der Benutzer die Artikel mit Barcode suchen können, sofern dieser erfasst wurde. Folgende Informationen können angezeigt werden: Produktname, Produktfamilie, Hersteller, Verteiler, Verpackung und einige Koscherkriterien. Eine "Anzeigetafel" informiert über aktuelle Informationen (Änderungen, Zugänge, Abgänge etc.) Falls Informationen zu den angezeigten Artikeln fehlen, kann der Benutzer Artikel fotografieren, Strichcodes einlesen oder Textmitteilungen schicken, die von den Administratoren geprüft und integriert werden.
