Too many ads despite owning the app
I have written to the developers about this and the issue remains. Too frequent ads promoting subscription when I have already purchased the app. The ads mean a delay in me being able to use the app. I would understand if I was using a free version and they want to promote purchase, but I have literally already purchased it. Please stop these annoying ads which delay me from getting to my destination!!! If there is an emergency, to get a child to the hospital, you do not want a pop-up ad, you want to be able to use the application to know where to go. Please please please figure out a way to stop the annoying ads.
Spam notifications
Please stop spamming me with popup ads when I’m not using this app. If I wanted to receive advertising material I would have signed up for that using my email.
Seriously quit it with the ads
A decent enough app, but the notification ads and upsells is annoying. I turned on notifications so that I could be notified of turns while not in the app, not for constant ads.
Speed limits seem a problem, but otherwise excellent.
It still shows the work zone speed limit coming into Canberra on the new divided road.
Sygic shows an 80 limit, but now the work has finished its posted as 100.
Otherwise, it’s excellent. Though it took me a while to work out the symbols on screen and what the voice was telling me.
Now I have that worked out, great!
Give this GPS app a while and I think you will relate too.
GPS Navigation
Great app used it so many times and used it in Hawaii worked so well.
Excellent for road trips
This is one of the only nav apps that can not only run entirely offline, but can also find routes without an internet connection which is a lifesaver in rural areas.
The lane view is phenomenal and is now a must for me when driving in the city - very helpful for working out which lane/s to be in.
It also tells you the distance to nearest rest stops and fuel, as well as posted speed limit and your vehicles GPS speed which is again helpful for long road trips.
The CarPlay is pretty good, one of the only apps to show 3D terrain on it. Altough it does have the occasional bug. (Full screen view shows a black screen, route drops out, freezing etc - but these are rare)
Overall 10/10.
No Star to be get
I am using this App each day since 2004 more than 20 years, the recent three (3) versions (after application update), it gives me number of issues and headaches. It also make me lose of direction and put me into unsafe situations as well.
1). The App shut down itself every 5-10 minutes during navigating mode while I was driving or on map mode;
2). The App is taking more than 2 minutes to start up;
3). The App takes more than 3 minutes to back to normal navigating mode after it shut down itself (I need to re-open the app during my driving); and
4). It is missing “Switch to walking” option on the Quick Menu
Can you please act and fixes the problem immediately? I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Music plays through phone speaker instead of Bluetooth when using smartcam
One big problem I have with this app is if I’m playing music through the car Bluetooth speaker and I start using the smartcam feature the instant I press start to record, my music stops playing through the Bluetooth speaker and starts playing through the phone speaker
great app but needs to have better wording for Australia
the app is impressive but needs to have more Australian road language as Sometimes it might say route instead of the street number and name also if you could add satellite view to maps while driving that would be great.
Time to make this app usable with Apple Watch!
