I’ve been using the premium version for a couple of months. After driving for a few miles, typically less than 10, my iPhone always prompts about overheating and displays some temperature warnings. This issue occurs exclusively with the Sygic app. I have tried using different map applications like Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps, and I don’t experience this problem with any of them.
I purchased this map few years ago and it was one of the best apps. That was the reason I bought in the first place, I tested and decided it worth the money. In the last years I haven’t used the app to much and now I wanted to use it again and surprise, everything that made this app so good now you need to pay separately. This is the way to lose clients. Google maps is the way even though I don't like them.
Can’t see maps. It’s just a blank screen
Paid for premium and a basic functionality does not work. App does not send audio to car stereo over bluetooth. Waze, Google Maps, Apple maps all work over car bluetooth. Tried toggling all audio settings in the app and the phone. Nothing works. There is a support page but no way to contact support team. They say there is a submit your request link which can be used. But that was no where to be seen.
I created an account & paid a subscription fee for a license. There are 2 apps in the App Store which look identical, but seem to function differently. Neither app can find my license and I am still in demo/trial mode. Support do not respond! Don’t know how to get this working. Not fit for purpose!
I downloaded this app when I needed to tow large trailers with my car in the uk. When you set the parameters correctly it bypasses any unsuitable junctions and roads.
Considering that I have the premium version I find it’s to slow to recalculate and find a faster route, apart from that the colour, graphics, speed camera notifications & sign warnings very good .
I have used Sygic for something like seven years and have always been impressed with it. Prior to migrating to Sygic I had used numerous other manufacturer’s products, which functioned relatively well, however none were as outstanding as Sygic.
I have used Sygic alongside other sat nav systems for many years now and have found it indispensable & superior in many ways to others on the market although this is not a cheap option the support & updates are exceptional and so far has not led me astray when having my caravan hitched on route all over the UK.
Since installing this app to use on car play it is my number one navigation tool. I use it all the time while driving as it gives me forwarding of roadworks, traffic build up etc. The traffic cameras ahead is also a big bonus. I would like to see the option to change the colour of the car from white to black but this is only my preference. Overall an excellent app reliable and highly recommend.
