Description

Symphony Pro 6 is a complete and intuitive app for writing music notation on iPad. It allows you to compose music for just about any size ensemble, from piano, symphonies, band, lead sheets, chord charts, guitar tabs, and more.

Starting Version 5, Symphony Pro now offers handwriting recognition as the only in-app purchase: Perfect with Apple Pencil, and works great with touch or capacitive stylus

GETTING STARTED

SP provides all of the key options to begin your work. Import a score via MusicXML, MXL, MIDI, or SP file from your computer, or from apps like Dropbox, Mail, iCloud Drive, or Safari. You can base your project on a template, or start a blank score and add additional parts later.

EDITING

To add notes, choose Pencil mode, and tap anywhere on a bar to begin editing right away. You can quickly specify note properties before or after placing notes. By switching to Select mode with one touch, you can also transpose, erase, cut, and paste multiple notes/tracks.

With an on-screen instrument, a QWERTY keyboard, or Core MIDI compatible keyboard, you can quickly enter notes & chords in step entry mode. Record a part in real-time with on-screen instruments to transcribe into notation.

Versions 4 & 5 take greater advantage of the iPad touchscreen. With shortcuts and contextual menus to edit note & bar properties, many of the commonly used editing commands are right at your fingertips.

SP supports a wide range of notational elements for your composition. Including dynamics & articulations, time & key signature changes, clef changes, pedals, and repeat conventions. Edit chord symbols, lyrics, and annotations using the iPad’s standard keyboard.

EXPORT & SHARE

When you’re finished, print out your score with AirPrint, or export it as a PDF, MusicXML, AAC, MIDI, or Symphony file. Share files via email or directly to another computer or iPad via Dropbox/iCloud Drive.

Handwriting Tool

Ich habe das handwriting tool für 14,99 Euro gekauft, welches aber als nicht gekauft Inder App erscheint. Keine Antwort vom support team nach wiederholter Kontaktaufnahme.

Muss überarbeitet werden

Stürzt ständig ab. Keyboard funktioniert manchmal, manchmal nicht. Das Handbuch muss überarbeitet werden. Die Funktion für handschriftliche Notizen konnte ich nicht finden.

Amazing App but.....

Totally amazing app. There are all features I need, but when writing with the Apple Pencil, you can‘t lay down your wrist on the display, otherwise the app is very confused. So a wrist recognition is highly recommended for the next update!!!!

Toll ist die Verwendung mit dem Apple Pencil. Funktioniert überraschend gut. Einfach zu verstehen.

Erzwungene Bewertung

Ich habe die App erst kurz in Verwendung. Bis jetzt gefällt sie mir ganz gut. Was mir allerdings überhaupt nicht gefällt ist, dass ich alle 2 Minuten durch ein Popup Fenster dazu genötigt werde eine gute Bewertung abzugeben, damit irgendwelche Features aus der Version 4 freigeschaltet werden. Ich habe diese App für den stolzen Preis von 34 € (inkl. Handschrifterkennung) gekauft und finde diese Methodik daher fragwürdig. Volle Sterneanzahl will ich nur vergeben, wenn ich von der Funktion der App überzeugt bin (dafür habe ich sie aber noch zu kurz) und wenn diese nervige Popup Fenster entfernt wird, das einen zu einer „guten“ Bewertung zwingen will (dazu reichen aber 2 Minuten Verwendung nicht aus)

Unglaublich

Gerade in Kombination mit dem iPad Pro und Apple Pencil, und dem „Schreiben Tool“, ist diese App Gold wert. Einfach schreiben was man denkt, und ruck zuck wird das umgewandelt in Computer Schrift. So stelle ich es mir vor. Ein muss für jeden IPad Besitzer der gerne mal komponiert / arrangiert. Ich weiß nicht wie ich das Musikstudium im kompositionsunterricht sonst überleben würde.

Sehr gelungene App. Bin professioneller Musiker und verwende es viel.

Nicht so super

Der Titel ist von der 1. Zeile zu weit entfernt. Der Abstand lässt sich nicht verringern. Die Klammer von der prima und seconda volta ist einen Kilometer von der Notenlinie entfernt und lässt sich auch nicht verändern. Rausgeschmissenes Geld, kann mich nur ärgern. Iwritemusic ist viel besser meiner Meinung nach

Unterstützt MIDI-Keyboard

Sehr gutes Programm mit vielen Funktionen. Würde mir noch mehr Zeichen wie zB Coda inkl. komplexerer Wiederholungsmöglichkeiten wünschen. Außerdem stürzt das Programm gerne ab. Die Noteneingabe ist sehr intuitiv umgesetzt, Import+Export mannigfaltig. Nur die Dropbox fehlt noch. Aufgrund der MIDI-Keyboard-Unterstützung mit Der Möglichkeit, Stücke live einzuspielen, 4 Sterne.
