Once on score view, unable to go back to project view, or save or duplicate, etc. The menu ‘Return to projects window’ (close; save as; duplicate; revert to) pops a fraction of a second and disappear. Pro version 6 (updated 4/21) ipad pro 12.9 5th gen ipadOS 16.5.1
This app is really great,but could you add more orchestral percussion. Like gong and castanets… Also,could you add stops on the organ?
I want to love this app, but… In a couple of days of evaluating it’s crashed on me four times (losing edits). The handwriting recognition is very poorly documented (so you have to keep experimenting to find what works) and often produces very unexpected results. The UI is full of unintuitive behaviours and complexity (to add a chord symbol requires three taps to get to type the symbol, then two more to get out of the chord mode to be able to write again. A great idea, but not ready for serious use. I’m giving two stars because when it does work, there are glimpses of a great app.
I’ve been using it for a few years now and it’s a great app for writing scores. Has good strings expressions and the hand writing recognition is great, took me a while to get used to it but it’s doing a great job! I haven’t tried different apps, so far this one is doing the job. I recommend.
A complete waste of time. They have made it so difficult to navigate that I was unable to do almost anything. After 8 hours of pulling my hair out I was not able to write more 2 bars of music. Trust me, skip this.
This product is simply amazing for designing and orchestrating songs. Fantastic flexibility, a huge variety of options, and great ease of use. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to construct musical arrangements.
This has such amazing potential, it’s a shame that it is updated so infrequently. There are a few bugs/glitches that make it unusable for me in it’s current state. Despite promises of the next update coming “in the next few weeks” for over 13 months (!), this app hasn’t had a major update in over 3 years. I hate to say it, but stay away until version 6 is released.
I am a music student and I am just beginning to arrange and compose classical pieces. I use this app since two years and it made me learn a lot. It has flaws, but a team is working on the app and it shows: it constantly gets better and better! It’s actual state is very satisfying. I love using it. Most tools I need are there and if I’m not sure of something, their help guide answers my interrogations. The price is definitely worth the quality! Excellent app! I recommand using it! 👌🏻
Symphony pro is great but a little difficult. The search is not working. Can you fix it please?
I always get a crash message on startup and the app will eventually force itself into landscape mode and won’t go back. I can’t get anywhere with it now. Even the prompt to contact the developers with the error info doesn’t work. Everything works fine on iPad.
