The project menu does not work on iPad Pro M1 so you cannot Exit or Save As any file. If you close the app, it comes back in the same music file. The only way to open a new file is to uninstall the app and reinstall it so that you can get to the list of projects. I have tried several times to contact customer support but there is absolutely no response of any kind. There is no evidence to suggest that they have a customer support. So, it was a great app in the past. Now it is unusable on modern Apple Silicon technology and a complete waste of money for users like me. BUG: when viewing a file, ie a score, file close option pops up far to briefly to allow you to actually close the file and then disappears. So you cannot access ANY other file/score! OK to fix this: Go to ios main settings -> go down to the Symphony Pro specific settings-> reset cache and restore defaults. A bit irritating, but will sort the problem! Did for me anyway My old fix… This worked for switching file…. Not for saving though! WORKAROUND: Go to ios main settings -> go down to the Symphony Pro specific settings-> down near the bottom there is an option to always open the app in the “projects window”. THEN swipe up on the app to shut it down and relaunch. You should now be in the files browser window and able to chose the file you want. However it does crash too much and has quite a few annoying glitches. Recently experienced issues (using guitar): when Repeats play back the visuals were crazy. stem direction ignores voice settings. tab and sheet music can easily be octaves out from each other when exported as MusicXml then imported again, user finger trouble maybe? Dont't forget guitars need to tune strings as needed. Also easily add and remove tabs. Many thanks for this excellent app. Another plea to fix score repeats et al please? I will say first that this software does take a bit of getting used to but the more you discover new features the more you realise it’s genius. Packed with tons of features and very reasonable in price. It has so many benefits, one of which from a music theory teaching aspect, it’s not something I’d initially thought of when I bought it. It was mainly for orchestral arranging and part writing if I need to draft up something quickly. Teaching music theory - it allows you to get students to practice the old fashioned and proper way of writing music using a pencil, but with the bonus of seeing it all printed up too. There are reviews saying it is pricey but the nearest competitor that I used to use was Sibelius, which at one point was £300 upwards if I remember correctly. This is £10 for the app and £10 for the hand writing add on.
