Deze app werkt prima, bijna op het proffessionele af, over gestapt van Compare and Sync folders. Zeer tevreden over deze app.

Na een kleine studie is deze app makkelijk in gebruik! We delen op verschillende schijven een paar mappen met collega's en dat is met 1 druk op de knop te synchroniseren. Wat wel jammer is, is dat de automatische synchronisatie niet meer werkt, maar handmatig aansturen werkt ook prima!

Je moet je even verdiepen in de verschillende opties, maar daarna is het een kwestie van aanzetten. Werkt prima tot nu toe. Interface kan nog wel iets duidelijker maar het werkt heel betrouwbaar tot nu toe.

Very useful utility with a somewhat archaic interface, I purchased the pro version. To make it really productive to me (and others?) I would suggest some improvements. It could well be worth the money for the pro version to you. Without the suggested improvements I will probably write shell scripts with the same effect. - Create sync task groups Group tasks together and allow me to run the group, so I can sync different folders to different targets at one click. So I do not have to manually mark a selection of tasks for syncing from the list, which increases the likelyhood of human error. - Protect sync tasks (and groups from above) With a confirmation dialog / custom message. Some tasks may be destructive, it would help if I could set up a message with a confirmation ('Are you sure you want to execute task X? It will overwrite files in directory ...)

After a period of searching a tool for synchronizing a specific folder structure with files to multiple destinations, I found Sync Folders Pro. It's easy to use, it does what it should do and it's fast! The possibility to choose various methods to sync is great. As well is the option whether to (temp) store deleted files is very handy!

Being busy with projects in several fields (more later) a good, reliable and easy to use backup app is an absolute must for me. For more than a year now I am a very satisfied user of SyncFolders Pro on Mac. I defined up to 80 tasks, fitting the several projects I run. So, if I work on project A today, I only have to run the backup scripts for project A. Saves a lot of time. My projects? Among others audio production. I have TB’s of samples and production data to manage and to backup: with Sync Folders Pro that’s no problem. It only backs up the data changed after a day’s work, not the whole bunch. Another project is a FaceBook page on the history of the city of Arnhem with a huge amount of history related data, photos and videos. I manage that with the great database app DEVONthink Personal, and trust Sync Folders Pro for good backups of the published data and the DEVONthink databases. The backups are done to two NAS devices, one Western Digital, and one Apple AirPort Extreme. Sync Folder Pro automatically uses the best OS settings for the NAS devices when defining a script. Nice. Sync Folder Pro just saves me from doing stupid backup jobs every day. Once the scripts are defined, sit back and relax :-). Great. I really, really recommend this app.

I am using Sync Folders Pro for all of my backup work among several different harddrives. For my setup it works perfectly fine. One improvement tip would be to give me a popup message when a target drive is full. Now I have to find that out in another way after wondering why the synchronization suddenly halts.
