Synology Drive iOS mobile app allows you to easily access and manage files in your Synology Drive on the go. In addition to common file types, such as documents, images, videos, and music, the app's user-friendly in-app viewer can open Synology Office documents, spreadsheets, and slides. This app is for techies, not user friendly, a far cry from Dropbox.
Multiple folders, confusing naming, you need to setup sync tasks they often don’t work and permissions too, I can’t get it working from IOS to server, just other way.

My uploads will get to 7-12% and then reset. Making the process of uploading videos incredibly tedious. So much that our business is looking at reverting back to airdropping uploads and manually uploading to Google Drive. 

This app definitely needs work.

When you go to set up new account the app goes from server name to blank screen and you are unable to put in login username or password to set up.

### ***** "An Excellent App and Synology System just got better."
I have used the Drive app for some time now and have really liked the ability to access my Synology Drive files anywhere. I am trying to steer away from paying the monthly OneDrive fees and each improvement in the Synology system makes that easier. What was missing was the ability to edit Microsoft Office apps with the Drive App. They have now added the 2 way Sync with IOS files App which has made a great App a fantastic App. Congratulations Synology on the continual development of your products.

Have been using for awhile no problems. Can now no longer upload jpgs using this app. Error is that the Drive Server is not installed on the NAS. Have double checked this - it is installed and has now been updated but still cannot upload to it! Grrrrrr. Help.

I got the app on my iPhone an iPad and I mostly use it to store my photos videos and documents. I‘ve been using it for two weeks now. It’s been very smooth. Good app, very easy to use, secured with pin or Touch ID.  at moment there are no thumbnails on videos. If you can put thumbnails on your videos it’ll be perfect.

How have they not fixed this?? Can’t select a folder (including subfolders) to sync so that you can work offline.  Offered by OneDrive, Google Drive and iCloud Drive. Basic stuff, come on Synology not all of us want to make our NAS available over the internet. This was the one MAJOR feature missing and still not delivered with the update.

Compared to Dropbox, this client's iOS integration isn't really there. Why can't I can directly upload files into my Drive Folders directly from browsers like Safari and other apps via the Share button? The only way to upload seems to require me to save locally to Files first and then upload by then switching to the Drive app. Where's Face ID support? I'd be hard pressed recommending people give up their cloud storage subscriptions for a Synology NAS if the user experience is this clunky.

This is the worst. Developers from Synology you are working back to 1999. I can’t believe it that Synology DS cloud doesn’t work any longer and Drive has no proper offline access function. If you can develop Australia with full GSM coverage than please continue but this is the worst. Get that function included immediately that I can download the full folders. I am client for years but now I really need to consider throwing the Synology out. Please think before you develop and change something. An angry customer.

Drive is great as my own personal cloud. I don’t need Google or Microsoft having access to all of my photos, documents, etc.

Only feature missing from Drive is the ability to select multiple files at once then email them out. At the moment, I can only send one  at a time.

You can select files that you want to access locally, but you can’t flag an entire folder as offline. You can offline individual files, and even offline every file in a folder at once, but this is not the same thing.

An offline folder automatically checks the drive for new/changed files and downloads them automatically. With offline files, you must do this yourself, with every folder. 

We need offline folders.
