This app is cool

Very nice samples and functionality for basic play. Love the ability to add columns and rows and the old Rob Fielding GSy layout, ability to select mono/poly. I was excited to see this as I actually liked GSy better in ways than GSh though Wizdom techs thought I was crazy to say so. More limited than GSy without equivalent pitchbend function, no legato types as in GSy (better in no MIDI, no AUM - if those were added and with the Holy Grail of velocity touch sensitivity (early GS had but lost in subsequent versions) I would pay for pro without thinking twice. It is limiting not to be able to use with DAWs etc. Great effort and I might upgrade if it the dev advances the feature set, or makes another app more advanced in a similar vein like a MIDI controller for AUM, but only with the all important slide/pitchbend, concerning which Rob Fielding’s code for CANTOR (GSy precursor but absolutely just as good) is according to him now OPEN SOURCE!

Without AUV3 or at least IAA the usefulness of this app is really limited. Add that and this is a 4 star app.

They even plagiarized part of the product description from GeoShred. I feel tricked by downloading this product.

For the price it’s super awesome. I haven’t seen the midi availability yet but it’s awesome still. I still love this app!!

C’mon, it’s 2021!

I have just discovered this interface type. Looks like GeoShred but less expensive. I paid for the 3.99 instrument update. The items with locks seem to play so I think that is what I bought. I would like to see the slide feature improved to be smoother and not at least as an option not try to play wash not when gesturing across the screen and the mid wheel effect seems non existent on each pad but the vibrato works well. This could be a great performance instrument and I am looking forward to see how I might be able to use it in my DAW sessions.

Clearly this Cracker Jack App is “trying” to mimic (and rip-off) GeoShred. But it does not even come close by a light year. It lacks the sophistication, intelligence,and creative inspiration in width, and depth of GeoShred. It’s a download and delete app, not worth taking up valuable memory space on your phone or tablet, which can be better served recording your next TicTok video hit!
