The T-Mobile Direct Connect app enables push-to-talk communications with Direct Connect devices including best-in-class features such as 1-to-1 Direct Connect calling and Group Connect calling all with the convenience of touchscreen controls. T-Mobile Direct Connect services should be added onto your T-Mobile lines of service before attempting to activate the application. All the settings settings on the app preferences are correct as instructed, including having “Background Refresh” set to on and “allow location access” set to always.
