-Count carbs but are NOT on a sliding scale

T1D1 implements the bolus dosing calculation as indicated by the American Diabetes Association standards of Care ( without modifications.

T1D1 is intended for people with Type 1 Diabetes aged 2 years and older who use multiple daily injections (MDI) of rapid-acting insulin. The user can calculate insulin doses based on user-entered data, track glucose, insulin, and carb intake, and share information with their healthcare team.
Designed to be simple and accessible, T1D1 makes it easier for patients and families to manage the daily math of diabetes.

About the creator:
My name is Drew Mendelow. I was 13 years old when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2020. I remember feeling so overwhelmed when I was newly diagnosed and wanted to create an app with just the essentials you need from day 1 of diagnosis. My aim is to make it simple, reliable, and accessible to all… for free!  Hope this app makes your life just a little easier.

T1D1 is an FDA-cleared, Class II medical device for over-the-counter use. Before use, a healthcare professional must provide your target blood glucose values, insulin-to-carbohydrate ratios, and correction factor (aka insulin sensitivity factor) to be programmed into the app.
While the app is designed to support insulin dosing for individuals with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) from age 2 and older, for children under 13, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account on the child’s behalf.

My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 12yrs old. It was a life changing event for not just him but our family. His endo recommended this app to us to make the whole process a bit easier. The fact that the creator of the app also lives in MD made us curious. From Day 1 we were a fan. It keeps logs for us so that I can check to make sure my son is utilizing the app. As long as you know how to use the app, it is the best thing ever! As a parent, this is such a lifesaver for me and my family. 1000% recommend this! And thank you T1D1!!!

Absolutely garbage app. Been a type 1 diabetic for 35 years strong now. During the set-up of the App, I answered the trigger questions properly. The end result is a “T1D1 may not be a good fit for you.” To add insult to injury, the reasons why it told me I was not a fit; The same answers I provided which would make me a fit. 
Sugarmate is a better app, and I suggest Diabetics use that one.
