Taber's Medical Dictionary

Subscription based applications are the best way to screw a customer, a fraudulent marketing techniques simply because, as we all know, these products reflects editions and there are no updates in the interim. So basically you pay for a subscription a price similar to the full price of the printed book and after a year they take it away. if you change device, forget about the book, if you restore the same device.. yes, forget about it. There are plenty of alternatives out there and many are not based on subscriptions or other "in-app" purchases. it is enough we are getting screwed with overpriced ebooks I don't think we should facilitate this "subscription" scam as well. Let us not forget the most important thing, all this content is found free online either though a simple search or a wiki search.

This App Store demands my full credit card information BEFORE a price is even quoted for my approval!! I have been using the same card for over 3years with no trouble-and now it failed to take it!! Be careful everyone! Don’t get ripped off when trying to use the App Store! Thank you John

Have used extensively as RN, consider it for me, extremely comprehensive & concise. Always had current hard copy. Now, digital version. Thank You

This is an excellent comprehensive dictionary. As long as they don't ask for a subscription fee, I will rate it very highly.

Taber’s was one of the first medical books I was introduced to as a teen volunteering at my local hospital and I’ve used one ever since and now the updated app since it became available. I’m a retired RN, healthcare consultant and certified medical coder and this book has guided me in reviewing medical records over the years. Excellent tool.

I have been an RN for more than 50 years. Taber’s Medical Dictionary is a “go to” for so many diagnoses and information. I don’t want to ever be without this handy reference tool. I recommend Tabor’s to everyone in the nursing profession from students to those in PhD program.

All they want is your money, you can’t even access your account after you purchase it. Waste of money and customer service doesn’t even respond and their email address on their website doesn’t even exist as a real email. SCAMMERS!
