## TAGO Airport Shuttle Driver Description
1) App Purpose

Tago Driver is the driver-only companion to the main Tago (Passenger) app. 
Passengers create ride requests in Tago; drivers use Tago Driver to receive, manage, and complete those requests. Not for passengers. 
Drivers can:

• receive ride requests from the Tago User App

• view pickup/destination on an interactive map

• accept/decline assigned rides

• chat with passengers in real time

• get push notifications for new rides/messages
Because Tago is a two-app system (User + Driver), a test driver account is required to access all features.

2) Test Account for Review

• Email: testerdriver1@test.com

• Password: tester11

Google Sign-In may be available, but the email/password above is the simplest for verification.

3) How to Test
1. Open the app and sign in with the test driver account.
2. The Home screen shows ride requests created in the Tago User App, fetched in real time from Firebase Firestore.
3. Tap any ride to see pickup, destination, departure time, and passenger info.
4. Tap Accept. The ride status updates in Firestore (shared with the User App), and the route appears on the map.
5. Open Chat to exchange messages with the passenger (synced via Firebase).
6. Background the app to verify push notifications for new rides/messages (FCM/APNs).
7. Open Settings / Profile to edit driver info and access Privacy Policy / Terms.
If no live requests are available during review, tell us—we can instantly add sample data to Firestore. You can also pull-to-refresh; data is live.

4) Location Permission

Requested on first map use.

• Info.plist: NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription, NSLocationAlwaysAndWhenInUseUsageDescription

• Reason: (1) show current location on Google Maps, (2) display route from pickup to destination, (3) assist navigation to passenger.

• Behavior: location is used only while actively viewing/handling a ride; no background tracking outside ride sessions.

• Purpose string in build: “Location information is required to display your current location and show routes on the map.”

5) Notifications (Push)
Uses Firebase Cloud Messaging / APNs for:

• new ride requests (when a passenger creates a ride)

• new chat messages

• ride status updates
Notifications are essential for timely responses and can be disabled in iOS Settings.

6) Network / Backend

• Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging)

• Google Maps SDK / Directions API for map/route display

• Requires internet (Wi-Fi or cellular). Offline, real-time features (rides, chat, maps) do not function.

7) Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication: email/password or Google login

• Firebase Firestore: rides, statuses, chats (shared with User App)

• Firebase Cloud Messaging: push notifications

• Google Maps SDK: map and route visualization

• Geolocator/CoreLocation: GPS access
All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS.

8) Data & Privacy

• Collected: driver name, email, device token for notifications

• Location: used only for in-app map rendering/navigation during rides

• Storage: securely in Firebase with strict Firestore rules
• Privacy Policy and Terms: available in-app and on the App Store listing
