Designed for anyone who thinks faster than they can type, Talk and Jot lets you record a voice note and instantly see it transcribed, or quickly type a note when silence is needed. Nothing gets lost. Everything is searchable. Capture in seconds, not minutes. Open the app, tap Voice, and start talking. Talk and Jot transcribes your words in real time and saves them automatically. Prefer to type? Tap the Type button and jot it down. Both modes are always one tap away. Find what you recorded when you need it. Every note is stored, tagged, and searchable. Use the built-in search to find any word from any note you've ever recorded. Browse by tag to surface patterns in your thinking. Export any date range as a PDF or JSON file — your notes belong to you. Your week at-a-glance. The home screen shows a summary of everything you captured this week — how many notes, how many words, your most active day, and your current streak. Tap Export to download the week's notes as a formatted PDF, ready to review, share, or file away. Organize without effort. Talk and Jot automatically tags your notes as you create them. The Tag Insights screen shows which topics you return to most, helping you notice patterns in your thinking over time — without any manual organization required. Built for privacy. Your notes are private by default. Talk and Jot does not sell your data, use your notes to train AI models, or share your content with third parties. Audio is processed for transcription and is not stored after conversion to text. Key Features: • One-tap voice recording with real-time transcription • Typed note entry — always available alongside voice • Full-text search across all notes • Automatic tagging and Tag Insights • Week-at-a-Glance summary with streak tracking • Export notes by date range as PDF or JSON • Weekly notes PDF export — download everything from the past 7 days • Secure, private, and built for everyday use Talk and Jot works for anyone who needs to capture ideas quickly — whether you're in a meeting, on a walk, driving, or just thinking out loud. It is the fastest way to make sure you never lose a thought again. And, while it is not a journal, a podcast tool, or a transcription service, you can find additional ways of using Talk and Jot. Then I found Talk and Jot and honestly, it has been a complete game changer. This tool has helped me move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling empowered. It has made my work faster, sharper, more organized, and so much more manageable. Not only has it improved my workflow, but it has also given me a greater sense of confidence in the work I am producing. What I love most is that it helps me capture ideas quickly, organize my thinking clearly, and turn what feels like a mountain of tasks into something I can actually tackle with clarity and excitement. I can genuinely say that Talk and Jot has opened the door for me to dream bigger and finally pursue projects I had been wanting to do for a long time but kept putting off because they felt too overwhelming.
