DO you feel FRUSTRATED too?

The Thai which is a difficult language without a doubt! New words don't stick..difficult phonetics..extensive alphabet with crazy funny characters..pfffffff😓 drives me crazy sometimes! [i'm I a real dummy BTW😉] TalkingThai is BY FAR the best help I could find out there...so LOOK NO FURTHER! You really want to learn Thai?! Listen and repeat!

Best way to learn thai: listen and repeat! So nice to have all possible words in one app; my pocket paper dictionairy thai teacher :-) good features: put your favorites in folders; create conversations by combining the many different example sentences; use the search method and go to specific topics by clicking the search results. Great app! I combine this one with pimsleur, nemo thai, and thaipod101 - thaidict is the mothership though!!

Best app for learning thai

This is the best app you can find on Apple App Store for learning thai in my opinion. The list of thai words you can do a search for are very comprehensive and complete. The curated categories of phrases are well organised and useful to learn the basic grammer. If you are a more serious learner and you want to learn the thai alphabet, the help section offers good info. The fact that you can get a break down (explanation) of the spelling of each word, is very impressive and useful. Especially when you are learning the thai alphabet. It is hard enough to learn this and the app makes it easier. I use the app every day in my thai studies and I can highly recommend this app!! P.s. Please update this app for iPhone X. :) Thanks a lot for your hard work!

สวัสดีครับ. Its a good app. I can very much recommend ‘pocket thai’ for learning thai as well. It will remain a difficult language for foreigners. Youtube has many helpful videos too. I hope I can be fluent one day. Sometimes I lose hope. Please keep updating the app. ขอบคุณครับ

My great digital help

What a great app for learning Thai. Never paid more for an iOS app but worth every dime. Everything you want to know and more. Not only vocabulary but also grammatically and special Thai explanation. Possibility to store your words in a folder. Pronunciation. Tone rules. Easy navigation and lots of tips how to use the app even better. I only do not give 5 stars because there is always something to be wished for e.g. a flash card function to study the words you saved in a folder.

This is how an English-Thai dictionary should be!!!

Calling this just an English-Thai (talking) dictionary is a gross understatement, as this app does so much more. I have bought many many books, CDs, iPhone apps to learn the Thai language, but this is the one you should buy. Please have also a look at the reviews of the previous version. The developers of the his app have done their utmost best to create a really perfect app, and other developer should take a good look as to what makes a perfect one!

I can't wait until the 2.0 update. Especially the looking up of words in the middle of phrases will be an indispensable feature since Thai words are all connected in sentences. Thank you very much! Forget all other Thai language learner's or Thai dictionary apps! The other apps aren't even half as good as this one! They may be cheaper but the other apps are a waste of money. Believe me! This is totally worth the money! This app is nearly twice as expensive as the paper version but with this app you can hear the right pronunciation. And it actually fits into your pocket. You can even find words in phonetic Thai. These people know how to make a great learner's dictionary!

10 x better than a paper one

Works as a charm! Verry verry usefull that every Thai word can be listened to as well. Only drawback is that only Thai is available to listen to so a Thai person learning english can not use it as effectively as A farang can.

The absolute best!

I tried a lot of Thai English dictionaries, but this is really the best one! I agree with the other positive reviews; this is my first written review, just to say how much i love this app. Also check out the other Benjawan app for learning Thai, i think both apps are worth the price!
