Whether your co-parenting situation is amicable or high conflict, our cutting-edge tools make joint custody easier to navigate, while keeping interactions saved to a court-admissible Record. TalkingParents is here to help you coordinate more seamlessly, set boundaries, and focus on what matters most: your children.

Secure Messaging: Send messages that can’t be edited or deleted and easily organize them by topic. All messages and read receipts are timestamped, allowing you to see when your co-parent sent or viewed a message.

Sentiment Scanner + Writing Assist: Scan messages for sentiment before you send them to understand how your words may come across. Rewrite messages using professionally developed communication methods designed to reduce tension and minimize conflict.

Accountable Calling: Make phone and video calls, complete with recordings and transcripts, without ever having to share your phone number.

Shared Calendar: Manage custody schedules and your child’s appointments and activities all on a Shared Calendar that both parents can access. Create single events for things like doctor’s appointments and repeating events for your child’s extracurriculars and custody transition days.

Accountable Payments: Make payment requests and securely send or receive money, allowing you to keep track of all shared parenting expenses. Requests and payments are timestamped, and you can also schedule monthly recurring payments.

Info Library: Share important details about the kids with customizable cards that both parents can access without having to contact each other. This feature is a great place to store frequently used information like clothing sizes, medical information, and more.

Personal Journal: Keep private notes about thoughts and interactions you want recorded for later. Whether it’s in-person discussions with your co-parent or child behavior observances, journal entries are just for you and can include up to five attachments.

Vault File Storage: Store photos, videos, and important documents. Your Vault cannot be accessed by your co-parent, but you may choose to share files with any third party by copying or emailing a link, which can be set to expire. You can also download files to your device.

Unalterable Records: All interactions within TalkingParents are stored to Unalterable Records that are trusted by legal professionals and accepted in courtrooms nationwide. Each Record includes a Digital Signature and unique 16-digit Authentication Code that verifies the Record is genuine and has not been modified in any way. PDF and Printed Records are available for Secure Messaging, Accountable Calling, Shared Calendar, Accountable Payments, Info Library, and Personal Journal.

Do I have to be on the same plan as my co-parent?

No, you can communicate through TalkingParents no matter what plan your co-parent is on. We offer three different plans—Essentials, Enhanced, or Ultimate.

Is TalkingParents court-monitored?

No, though Unalterable Records are court-admissible and can be used as evidence in family law cases, no one monitors interactions between you and your co-parent. This is for the privacy of our users.

Can I change plans?

Yes, TalkingParents offers monthly subscriptions that make it easy to modify your plan at any time. If you don’t think your needs will change throughout the year, we also offer annual plans that include an 8% discount.

Can my account be deleted?

No, TalkingParents does not allow the deletion of accounts once created and matched. This ensures that neither co-parent can remove an account and clear messages, call records, or other details within the service.

The recent updates have somehow caused the app to open unread messages on my behalf before I physically open the message on my own; in a situation where the Court has asked parents to respond to messages within 24 hours of receipt, one might see how that could create a problem for parents using the app. Please review and address, ASAP.

It’s buggy, always seems to fail when you need it most, is unreliable, slow to load, bloated and they seem to emphasize firm over function. What’s worse is their EULA gives you no rights and no choices and they can sell your info to 3rd parties. If you have a court order to use it, you have no say in the matter. If I could give these idiots less stars I would.

I’ve been using TP (our nickname for the app lol) for 3 years now and cannot tell you how much peace of mind I feel knowing all of my conversations are documented. Not only does the app deter my high-conflict ex-spouse from being aggressive or lying, but it also documents those times he is unable to control himself. It helps me stay grounded in my responses, too, and that’s been very helpful.

Talking Parents creators- please get a shared calendar feature that allows us to print the calendar to provide to the school! Currently, my ex makes his own calendar and refuses to use a shared one. There are mistakes on his, but he submits it anyway. Adding this feature would definitely make TP a 5 star product!

I have to call a 2nd time every single time to get the audio to work only on video calling (face to face) this is costing me $ and has been happening for a few months, the bug went away for 6 months and now back again. I yet have had to use this app for court purposes but its okay to have, phones can screen record as well *shrug*
  Hope this gets fixed because it’s getting annoying and EXPENSIVE.. thank you for whom all has read this

All of the recent updates and versions are full of bugs. They keep rolling out one bad version after another. Either fix the problem or stop charging for something that isn’t working. This has been going on for too long. Maybe you should hire someone who can fix the problems. It takes over TWO minutes just to load. Then as you text, it gets more and more jittery and freezes. Totally annoying and frustrating. This app is worse than my ex.

Since after the new update, my phone has been freezing and logging me out every time I receive a message. It takes forever to open. You guys need to bring the old update. It was better. Also, you guys need to increase the minutes for phone calls. I was ordered to call my child for 20 minutes every day, 120 minutes only last me six days. We pay $27 a month and there’s millions of people using this app

ever since I downloaded the newest update, my app has been glitching like crazy. It continuously logged me out every time I open the app and at times I can’t even get notified since I’m logged out without even knowing. The app is consistently freezing or glitching to wear whenever I try to open the new message it lags and freezes for about a good two minutes before I can finally open up and see what the message was about. when I do finally get the chance to respond, the keyboard is so delayed that I have to finish writing my message and it takes about another minute for the message to still type through the app. Once the message is ready, then I can continue writing, but have to still wait again for the message to finish getting written. and randomly it will scroll up through the messages without being able to stop it or even close out back to the home page. and when i close out the app and try to reopen, it stays frozen to the messages page.

After many atempts and password changes to log into my account for which I’m paying a subscription for and getting support to log into my account this application has to many service glitches that has continually not let me have acces to my account in loggin in. This app has become increasingly unreliable. I can not even open my messages on the mobile app anymore. I used to have no issues on the mobile app but it has gotten increasingly worse.

To add insult to injury, you guys keep increasing the price. Increased price for worse results is a quick way to lose customers.

I rely on this app for timely communication regarding my children. If I can’t even open my messages on the mobile app, then what exactly are we paying for?
