I use to have this app before and I’ve seen the change over the years. I’m glad it is what it is now. It’s like twitter but people being honest about what they’re going through in life. It’s one of my favorite mental health apps and this time I’m not deleting it anymore.
they will suspend you for no reason but you deal with mean people that don’t know you and say rude things about you or to you they let them get away with it unless we report them and block them and they remove your post that is not bad worse app im using
This app is ran by bad people who only pretend they care about you. They used to own Vent, a much better app that used to exist, and purposefully sabotaged it by making horrible decisions so they could buy out the competition and shut it down. They constantly make decisions that put mentally ill people at risk and never listen to what the community wants or when the community tells them how the decisions they make will put them in danger. I joined this app after the Vent shutdown just to see how different it was and got told twice by people to commit su*c*de. This community is very harmful and eggs people on to hurt themselves or bullies/harasses them. And the mod team just allows these people to do so because every report you make on a person is completely ignored and they aren’t even suspended. This app is a huge joke.

unsupportive app, full of people just trying to send you sex dms. lots of homophobia and intolerance. app changes the words you type to censor you. ceo buys competing apps, steals their best features and applies them to his parent app, and then shuts them down which is a violation of anti competition laws in many countries.
Horrible horrible app
Really bad platform if you’re perceived as a woman in ANY way. Not a safe platform for underage users. The “help” is largely unhelpful and often leaves users feeling worse. The owner seems to not be truly invested in mental health and wellbeing and is more interested in cultivating a community of yesmen.
TalkLife has always paled in comparison to Vent. Having the funds to continue running Vent, but closing down anyways because the community hurt you and your staffs feelings is ludicrous. You never once listened to the community and your moderators were dictators. Closing Vent did absolutely nothing as a lot of the community had to migrate to TalkLife anyways. You brought the hostility to your app. Enjoy. ☕️
don’t download if your lgbt, a poc, or just want a stable and healthy community. shut down his other app impulsively with a week’s notice because his feelings got hurt. honestly go anywhere else for support.
