Maar sinds paar weken grote bugs in de app waardoor telefoon gebruik onmogelijk wordt. Laatst op vakantie is ‘s nachts de app random naar “tap out” gegaan en nu kan ik al dagen niet bij apps. De fysieke tap in werkt soms ook niet meer goed, waardoor noodzakelijke apps geblokkeerd blijven. Al met al nu echt een slechte ervaring. Sometimes i just need access to a website or something else that is blocked. I’m a father of three, 43 years old. Busy life, and still have a screen time of 5-6 hours a day. Part of that is work, car navigation etc. But around 2-3 hours is stuff like googling my constant brain farts, doomscrolling when I’m tired, playing a mindless game etc. Now I’ve blocked every app that I don’t need for daily life and not only do I have more time left for other stuff, also I am more relaxed. Not searching everything I think off, not asking AI every dumb question that comes to my mind, not doomscrolling in bed while I need to go to sleep. Sometimes I unlock tapout for 15 minutes if I feel like it, and it’s good that it automatically goes back to block mode. Ik gebruik de nutteloze apps echt nooit meer, het geeft me zo veel rust om de socials misschien eens per week 15 minuten te controleren. Ik merk dat ik ook een heel stuk beter slaap en dat terwijl ik voor tap-out al maximaal 30 per dag op onzin apps zat. Het is ongekend hoe verslavend alles is geworden zonder dat je het door hebt. Even wachten bij de wc-> telefoon. even wachten op het station -> telefoon. Even het weer checken omdat dat “nuttig is” -> telefoon. Even wat opzoeken want dat is “handig” -> telefoon.
