## TAP Description
Apartment hunting, reimagined.
TAP is a video-first apartment rental platform that helps renters discover, tour, and book apartments faster. Instead of endless photos and outdated listings, TAP lets you scroll short video walkthroughs that show the true size, layout, and vibe of each space.

Browse apartments through video
Watch real apartment walkthroughs to get a better feel for each listing before scheduling a tour. See details like lighting, layout, finishes, and flow—right from your phone.

Find better matches with smart preferences
Set your preferences for location, price, bedrooms, and more. TAP surfaces listings that match what you’re actually looking for, so you spend less time searching and more time finding the right place.

Book tours instantly
See availability and book apartment tours directly through the app—no back-and-forth emails or unanswered messages.

Built for renters and leasing professionals
Renters get a faster, more transparent way to search. Leasing professionals get a modern platform to showcase listings through video and connect with renters.

Whether you’re browsing from your couch or narrowing down your next tour, TAP makes apartment hunting simpler, faster, and more visual.

## TAP Reviews in United States

### *---- "Vibe coded AI slop and overhyped"
The whole app feels vibe coded. There’s a lot of startup hype and “AI-powered” branding around it, but the actual experience feels rushed, gimmicky, and underdeveloped.

The biggest issue for me is that the app doesn’t really feel better than the rental platforms that already exist. The short-form feed, AI voiceovers, slideshow-style listing content, and social-media presentation might look good in promotional videos, but when you’re actually trying to find an apartment, it gets old fast. I’d rather have clear photos, useful filters, accurate listing information, a good map, and an efficient search experience.

The AI features also feel more like decoration than something solving a real problem. AI-generated narration and descriptions don’t automatically make apartment hunting easier, and sometimes they actually make the listings feel less personal and less trustworthy.

The overall product gives me the impression that the branding and “we built an AI startup” story came before polishing the actual user experience. It feels more like an early MVP or demo than something I’d want to rely on for a serious apartment search.

There may be a decent idea underneath it, and I’m sure it can improve, but in its current state I don’t see a compelling reason to use this over Zillow, Apartments.com, Craigslist, or other established options.

### **--- "Only 5 Listings?"
I am looking for a place for rent and TAP only has 5 listings on the platform. I would just use Zillow or Craigslist if I’m looking for a place to rent…not worth downloading!
-- Jsgl11, 2026-09-09

### ***** "So good!!!"
TAP helped me find my apartment in Oakland and get connected with my leasing agent! Made the process super quick and easy for me :)
-- Liane BW, 2026-08-28

### *---- "SCAM"
Don't ever download this app. Waste of time.
-- Francois0000, 2026-08-20

### ***** "Easy to use"
Daisy is so nice and she’s truly changing the sf rental game!
-- Sfrenter401, 2026-08-12

### ***** "Super easy"
Shout out because I ended up actually finding my apartment on this app. I was able to schedule a lot of appointments easily and my strategy was scheduling as many as possible. I found the map view to be helpful In showing me what the different neighborhoods could get me for my budget since I wasn’t familiar with the market.

### ***** "Easy to tour! Daisy was so nice!"
Loved the tour! Daisy is so nice!
-- The Cool Dad, 2026-08-09

### *---- "Can’t create account"
I can’t even sign in with a new account?? I tried all 3 sign in methods and they all shows me errors
-- ClaudiaW666, 2026-07-09

### *---- "can’t use the app"
the app won’t let me log in. there’s multiple ways to log in and errors keep popping up. can’t use the app if you don’t log in
-- want2go2themoon, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Cannot customize search"
This app is terrible. You can’t even set a preference for square footage so I’m over here scrolling thru apartments that are 50% the size I want and I can’t filter them out. The videos are janky, it should just be photos. And there’s barely even any apartments on the app. It’s very disappointing overall.
