Tapas – Comics and Novels

I’m a big bookworm and tapas as tunes of book to read. The only thing that I can think of that I don’t like is that I never have enough ink. Ink is what you use to buy chapters of books, you need a tune of ink, most of the time to buy an entire book you need like 17’000 ink. And I have about 345 ink normally 😭but it has great books. I spend most of my time on tapas. And I hope my review helped and I hope you find some books you love👋

Love the manhwas it contains. And they have missions for you to earn enough inks to buy the novels or manhwas you love! It’s just a bit sad that there’s no “watching ads” to earn ink anymore. But hey, you can support authors and artists by completing missions and buying their content.

Overall a pretty great app. Stories chosen are solid, translations are pretty good. Only sometimes will there be a problem with the proofreading. Love the art most of the time. The novels I’ve read are pretty good, too. Nice selection of stories, both comics and novels. But there’s a couple problems. For those reading who haven’t actually downloaded tapas, the app has a feature where you can “earn Ink” (Ink is the in-app currency) to unlock more episodes in different stories. You could earn ink by watching ads before, but that option is no longer available. In my region, you can do “challenges” or “purchases” with a third party website to earn ink. I mostly do the pretty easy ones with low-rewards. Some of the ones with less ink work, but if you want to earn more than 50 ink from a place, get ready to either be disappointed because it doesn’t work, or spend 20-30 minutes doing the thing they wanted you to do. Most of the time, I’ll click on the link, go to the website, do what they want me to do, and then come back to the app to see no reward. I’ll even wait a couple minutes or refresh the page, but still no reward. I hope the team takes their time to go through all these and make sure they work, since more than half of them (the non-purchasing prompts) don’t work and just waste your time. There’s also a bug where I’ll unlock an episode, but it won’t load. I’ll have to exit the episode and go back to the episode. Not that bad of a bug, but just thought I should tell someone. There’s also the option to watch ads for episodes. Not to earn ink, but to unlock episodes. I will sometimes have to watch multiple ads because it’ll be “poor connection” which I get is not the app’s problem, but I still wish I wouldn’t have to re-watch an add even though I already fulfilled the conditions. Overall a pretty great app

My ink have been disappeared I was at 1.2k and I’m at 200 ink

When you look in your subscribed series, you sometimes need to scroll down for a long time until you find the series you want. There aren’t enough organization? Just unsubscribe and resubscribe for an hour or 2! For the devs: can you please add some files and better organisation tech because everyone that has a lot of subscribed series are in pain! Ps: I lost more than 5 hours just to organize my library of subscribed series!

Can we please get the watching ads back to earn inks ): all of us would be happy and it is a way for you to earn incentives when we watch them?

The Tapas app is constantly trying to get your money with challenges and rewards for reading and buying content from other websites for ink. This is the reason why most people stick with WEBTOON compared to other apps. If they want more people to use their apps they need to stop vying so hard for your money. Overall I think it’s a good app if you’re not focusing on the greediness of the company.

Let's see here what this lovely app has done for readers hmm. It's gotten rid of ways to get ink, increased the cost of ink for episodes, got rid of 3hrs wuf for new series, increased the cost for ink packages, made reading challenges impossible and unrealistic, put series on long hiatus and then forgot about those series, and doesn't even bother licensing the series that readers want in the first place. I’m sure there’s more but yea don’t waste your time and money.

I feel that tapas is amazing an reading app. I really like how you can get ink from events and from visiting websites, or to go listening to Podcasts, maybe even a quiz.The only thing I don’t like about this arrangement is that I might spend about 30 minutes of my time for one podcast for only 28 ink that can’t even get me one episode or a half episode. I would like it if they raise their prices for the time they’re doing. I was also like if there were more options. More or so of the ink which you can get is like shopping or a subscription something that costs money. I am not buying ink because I cannot use money. so I would rather have more free options. But other than what I have described I feel like this is a really good app to read on with a bunch of different selections. Also, great art in the comics.

Edit: I change my mind, please bring back the old design. It’s so much harder to find the books I want now. I no longer have an easy to find button for which genre I’m feeling like reading and I hate it. Please change it back I gotta say, I quite dislike the new layout of tapas. It might just take awhile to get used to but I still don’t like it as much as the older layout. I’m also getting tired of the price changes and will forever be upset about the WUF no longer being permanent. At least the still have some good books though.
