Notifications are so insanely broken, there is an option to turn off certain notifications but it never works, I don’t even get notifications for things I have turned on like activity for my own stories. For a creator this platform just gets worse and worse, but still not as bad as others. They used to have featured stuff on the home page now it’s all moved to community. I wonder how many readers actually venture past the home page? Novels get buried even more than webcomics. With the new updates it’s even worse, do they want to push out the small creators on the long run?

With no ads for free ink, it is so hard to enjoy the comics. Bring back free ads to gain inks so that it would be fair for all parties.

Can’t use it as frequently as before

Please bring ads like before 😭 I’d tolerate it if there’s no ads but the events have to be as easy as before or if most titles are still 3hr wuf instead of 24hr. Reading here takes a lot of time because of what I mentioned 🙁

Earn Ink with ads feature missing

It's somewhat amusing how another webtoon app has recently implemented watching ads for access to their episodes, while Tapas has removed this feature. I saw on forums that they were going to reimplement this feature, but that was four months ago, and unfortunately, I don't think there has been an update since.

I’ve used this app for so long on an iPhone 8 and its not slow at all！There are so many different comics and novels and I can’t stop reading them every day!

Tapas used to be an app that's used to be the best when it comes to generousness when compared to others. Now, when you unlock a free episode, it will expire in 3 days. Back then, when you unlock it for free, you unlock it permanently. But now, when you want to watch back after 3 days, you need to wait either for the free episode or earn/buy inks. However, now there's not even an option to earn inks other than do tasks like download an app and inviting friends/new users. It used to have the function to earn inks by watching ads, 30 per hour, which allows us to earn 300 inks per hour. The function is said to be back one week after November 6th after I asked customer service but now is November 20th and there's still no sign of it coming back. Please focus on user experience and not on the profit earned. It's annoying!!! Now, I think webtoon is better since they allow you to watch the latest episodes for free. Tapas also becoming like other comic apps which all requires money. I'm writing this review so that they will return the watch ads function and not change any other stuff in the future.

yk actually u were my fav legal apps to read manhwa/novel but lately u have been getting on my nerves la by implying unnecessary & useless features n got rid the ones that are actually helpful to us readers. BRING BACK THE WATCH ADS FEATURE U STEWPID YELLOW APP
