Tapas – Comics and Novels

I don’t have any problems with the books or reading on tapas i just don’t really like the scrolling… maybe i’m just not used to it yet but it’s real funky right now, i can scroll down on an episode and a screen will pop up to buy the next one when i’ve literally just opened it. Also a lot of the time i accidentally scroll to the previous chapter and then when i go back i lose my place so i have to scroll all the way back to my spot again. It’s just really annoying and it happens a lot of the time. I liked the scrolling better previously on tapas.

Good content but locked behind a steep pay wall, it would almost be cheaper to buy physical copies of a series than paying to unlock new chapters.

There must be a bug because it is REALLY frustrating to use right now and it wasn’t before. I have had to switch off my phone so many times in a day to reboot the app but it keeps doing it. I’ve got the new app so stop with the pop up prompts to add the new app every five minutes that take me away from what I’m trying to read and then I can’t go back. Argh. The worst.

This app just charged me 35$ without my consent it just took the money from my bank in the night I only noticed as it was a pending payment and I knew I hadn’t brought new ink as I had plenty and the money taken didn’t even give me ink either so they just took 35$ straight out of my account meaning they are using my private bank details . I have already reported this app and if I do not get my money back I will be taking this to further levels. GIVE MY MONEY BACK NOW

Everything about it was amazing and I preferred the set up over webtoon because the wuf (wait until free) was permanently unlocked and if there was a good cliff hanger I would spend all my ink to catch up, or if it was just that good which I have about ten that I keep up to date with. You changed the wait until frees so they aren’t permanent, if I’m being honest this probably won’t affect me much I just can’t binge or read a few episodes back if I want to pick it back up again. Enough with the negative, I love the layout I love the comics I love how you can see when a wuf is done or when a new one is coming out, I spend a concerning amount of time on this app

As of the recent two versions, I am unable to open the app as it instantly crashes upon doing so. This is despite the fact that the app labels the current version as compatible with my iPhone 5S and IOS version. After contacting Tapas support, as usual, they never respond. Out of the multiple times I’ve contacted support, only one time I’ve ever gotten a reply. During that one occurrence I had an issue regarding a promotion. When they replied, they stated how the missing credit had been added to my account. Nothing actually changed until I received an automated message regarding my issue a few days later. Classic. Until then, I guess the rest of my purchases in this app will be unusable, unless I want to either buy a new phone or use the currency on desktop which has higher prices.

Since Monday this app will let me open it to the home page and change nothing. No taps, no scrolls etc. means I can’t read anything or even see what’s been updated despite getting notifications saying new episodes are available.

Convenient when it works but I keep getting bugs. Sometimes it freezes the app when I’m in the middle of a comic and I can’t do anything in the app so I have to close the app, reopen it, and hope it doesn’t freeze again. Sometimes it takes a few reloads to actually show my library. Lately it will load gifts when I refresh but won’t show the fortune cookie until it’s expired so I miss out on it.

It’s a great app but recently whenever I try to read a chapter of anything it’ll just freeze the screen and just crash which is really frustrating, I’ve tried reinstalling it several times.
