Tapas – Comics and Novels

Tapas used to be so generous to low budget readers, with lots of ways to earn free ink. But now, they’ve slowly started removing the options one by one. Bingeathons became harder and often needed ink; the ‘watch ads for ink’ function was removed and replaced with ‘unlock three extra chapters per day with ads’; prices for chapters went up; the watch ads options became even more limited as they shrunk the pool of unlockable chapters to old series and their first season only; and now they’ve made bingeathons so much rarer. We used to get three a month. Now we’ve only had two in the last three months. Tapas, if this continues then you’ll see a large portion of your readers emigrating to different sites. I switched from Webtoon to Tapas because their selection was more in line with my tastes, but now that Webtoon is starting to add more otome/villainess manhwas I find myself reading there more and more. If there’s one thing you bring back, *please* make the bingeathons more frequent again.

I can’t get ink through games ads what do I do ?

As I could not find any way to report that the app is not working anymore maybe this coukd work….

I love the app but I don’t like having to buy ink or do the tasks bc the tasks don’t rlly work and you only get 50 ink for doing something that will take 30 mins

SO THEY HAVE NICE STORIES AND STUFF BUT WHEN I SEE THE MODERATE THING WARNING I ASSUME ITS JUST BAD LANGUAGE AND IM WRONG I GET SEVERELY TRAUMATISED BY SOME OF THE STUFF AND I TRY LIKE REPORTING THE STORY BUT I CANT AND THEN I FEEL WEIRD ABT ME ACCIDENTALLY READING IT AND SOMETIMES MY WUFS ARENT AVAILABLE FOR THE OTHER CHAPTERS BUT THATS NOT THE GAMES FAULT BUT OTHER THEN MY BAD EXPERIENCE THEY HAVE GOOD STORIES OF EVERY CATEGORIES.

I’ve been using tapas for about a year and 9 months now, and I loved it. At the time, it was 24hr WUF and you kept the chapter forever. Then, they introduced the 3hr WUF where you only keep the chapter for 72 hours. That was fine but you don’t get to keep them and it makes legally rereading the series long as hell. But it’s workable. Then any that you own and download doesn’t work offline and entirely crashes the app. I have to delete it and all of its data in order to use the app again. I’ve reported it and it’s not been fixed. Then putting the prices up. You don’t get value for money anymore. They didn’t even announce it. Finally, they began doing events to get extra ink, and with the 3hr WUF it was great. Until, it’s a 3 day event and you have to read 6/12 chapters to get the free ink. No point. It’s just annoying. Unless there are some good changes, I’m really considering going back to Manta Unlimited or Webtoons because it’s better value for money, even though my favourite series is here. Keep this in mind if you’re looking to read a lot and will be a paying customer.

The gain free ink feature does not work all the time, when i try to get free ink on the web browser in never loads up anymore. Therefore i can no longer get any free ink without having to purchase.

you got rid of probably the best way to get ink just out of pure greed. at least listen to us and hear from the people who are saying that they're leaving the app because watching ads is the most accessible way to get ink and now you got rid of it. would be a better platform if they got the ads back.

I love tapas, however the ‘watch add’ to get free ink has completely gone. I don’t always manage to get the Mondays free ink and I don’t know if it’s just an error or what, but it is very annoying and I can’t really catch up on anything or support people… Edit: apparently it has been is just disappointing. Not everyone can afford even the cheapest option to get ink and it’s very stupid to get rid of the only option that helps people enjoy the stories. I don’t want to get rid of the app but it needs sorting! Maybe think about other people and not just the money.
