As a journalist, I find it pretty impossible to take notes fast enough to retain the information I need, so I record them. 

I have been using tape a call since University and have never looked anywhere else. It is excellent at recording my calls for me to listen and transcribe so I always have a audio copy of the interviews I conduct. It works perfectly for that alone.

The transcriptions, however, are terrible and completely useless. I understand that it is still being developed, but for the moment it hinders my workflow more than helps it - and is definitely not worth NZ $11. This app would get 5 stars if they improve the quality of transcriptions.
