taptap is a simple budgeting app that automatically logs contactless payments and helps you stay within your budget — privately and entirely on your device.

Create a budget for a day, week, month, or year, and watch your spending update as payments are logged.

What you can do with taptap
• Create budgets for flexible time periods
• Automatically log tap payments using a Shortcuts automation
• Manually add or edit payments anytime
• See your current spending at a glance
• Receive optional notifications as you spend
• Works fully offline

Automatic logging works with supported Apple Wallet transactions through a Shortcuts automation. Some payment types, such as transit tap-ins (for example TfL), may not trigger the automation.

Designed for privacy
taptap does not connect to banks, cards, NFC, or payment networks.
All data stays on your device.

No accounts.
No cloud storage.
No tracking.

Only the payment amount, merchant, and issuer are passed into the app through a user-configured Shortcut.
