Target Number Math Forge is an engaging card-based puzzle game that combines mathematical logic with strategic placement. Set on a 4×4 grid, players arrange number and operation cards to form arithmetic expressions that match a given target number. Each expression follows a strict sequence: number, operation, number, and so on, connecting only adjacent cards horizontally or vertically. Expressions are calculated left to right without standard operator precedence, and division is allowed only when it results in a whole number.

The game challenges players to think ahead, as the limited board size and move restrictions require careful planning. Early levels focus on basic addition and subtraction with simple targets, making the game accessible for ages 10 and up. As you advance, more operations like multiplication and division appear, along with special cards such as ×2 multipliers and Swap cards. Hidden cards that must be revealed, blocked cells, and longer expressions add depth to later stages.

Players interact by swapping adjacent cards or flipping hidden ones to uncover values, then selecting chains of cards to form expressions. Successful calculations remove matched cards, score points, and update the target number, creating a dynamic and evolving puzzle.
