## Targeting Maths Year 4 Description
The Targeting Maths app is an amazing new way to learn mathematics. Within this app, students can access a huge range of activities that make learning maths facts fun, motivating and very rewarding!

This app includes:

Training - 81 question sets that cover the 9 big topics of Year 4 Mathematics. This section includes a scratch board for working out problems, along with a Dictionary of terms. 

Multiplayer - up to 4 players can play against each other in this game of speed and fun. 

Timed - Increase your speed in essential addition, subtraction, word and mixed mathematic facts. 

Badges - earn more than 220 badges.

Games - earn tokens to spend on fun games in the Circus area. 

With the ability to make multiple account, each child's individual progress is tracked and recorded. 

The Targeting Maths apps are created by the same team that created the very popular Reading Eggs and Mathseeds websites. In creating the Targeting Maths apps, we have bought together all we know about how children learn maths with the powerful interactivity and motivation provided by the iPad. I agree with other reviews, in that it’s frustrating when you get an incorrect answer but no explanation of what was wrong. 

Even more frustrating, when answering a question (e.g. place these items in ascending order), there often isn’t an option to change your answer before “checking” it. So, if I start putting items in descending order and realise I’ve misread the question, I can’t put it right. 

This is surely a basic requirement for this type of app and should be able to be done?

This app is great and we have been using it in our school for probably 5+ years now.
As we are using this app with purpose, we have put certain content in certain weeks and terms to synchronise with our school curriculum.
Unfortunately recently the app has been updated and the titles modified or completely changed, yet as a school we haven’t been told anything.
Now we get from the kids, each week.
“Mr .... I couldn’t find this weeks units. Do you know where they are?”
We go and look and find the unit has been renamed or completely removed.
It’s very frustrating and makes us look like we are disorganised.
A little communication would go a long way.

Targeting maths is such a great app for learning maths and teaching students Mathematics but if u get a question wrong, it doesn’t show u why it’s wrong or what the real answer is. I do recommend getting the app, just a few issues.
