Description

Tasks is designed to make you more productive by better managing your time. This is based on the technique followed by the legendary General and former president of the the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower. This method was made popular by Stephen Covey in his popular title “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.
Usage:
Just drag the ‘+’ icon to any quadrant to create a new tasks. Simple. You can move the existing tasks to other quadrants by dragging the task across. Once you are done with a task swipe right to mark it complete. If you want to delete a task just swipe left. Want to be notified on due dates? select the ‘bell’ icon and set a due date. When a task is due in the next 24 hours it shows a red marker on the task. If the marker is yellow it means that the card is due in the 48 hours. If the due date is beyond 48 hours the marker will be green in color. If you see a blue marker it means there is not due date for that task.
How to use tasks effectively
Eisenhower’s strategy for taking action and organizing your tasks is simple. Using the decision matrix below, you will separate your actions based on four possibilities.
- Urgent and important (tasks you will do immediately).
- Important, but not urgent (tasks you will schedule to do later).
- Urgent, but not important (tasks you will delegate to someone else).
- Neither urgent nor important (tasks that you will eliminate).
The great thing about tasks app is that it can be used for broad productivity plans (“What should i plan for the coming week?”) and for managing checklists related to certain tasks (ex: Grocery shopping list).

Good app

Too bad it appears to be abandoned. Nice UI with what appear to be some minor bugs but functional enough to use.

This app would be perfect if

When you sorted the tasks within each category, they stayed sorted! I’ll take the time to rearrange things and then they don’t get saved in the order I want them ):

Check items off?

Nice interface. Cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove an item or check it as done. Will update review. Would also be nice to have several folders of different charts. Right now you can only track 1 set of tasks.

Simple and Easy to Use

Exactly what I need. Thank you dev.

Weird Format

It works it’s just not a traditional matrix: it will section it off with the left hand being Urgent and the right hand being not urgent. Usually you would read an Eisenhower matrix from bottom right to top left or vice versa but when you do that here, it’s really confusing.

So Simple I’ll Actually Use It

I searched though many options, and this seems to fit what I was looking for. I was a Franklin/Covey user for years and this is the closest thing I’ve seen to organize tasks. I love that you can see the list from the home screen 1- The sort order on the display should be set to the time for completion. 2- It would be nice if it were synced to google. This request might be asking too much, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Minimalist

It is a great minimalist type app to list what tasks you need to get done. I ultimately decided pen and paper was the way to go for me to prioritize my tasks. It has a nice clean look that lets you do prioritization digitally, so if you are an app person when it comes to this system, this is the app for getting the jobs done.
