## Tasks Description
Keep your day clear and your projects moving.

Tasks brings your to-dos, reminders, and shared projects together in one place. Plan a busy week, organize a trip, or take a project from first idea to finished. Start with a simple list and add the structure you need as you go.

CAPTURE IT WHILE IT'S ON YOUR MIND

Type “Send the report tomorrow at 3pm” and accept the suggested date and time. Tasks recognizes dates, repeats, priorities, and locations as you type. Add tasks with Siri, save something from another app, or turn an email into a task with the original message attached.

SEE WHAT'S NEXT, AND WHAT'S MOVING

Switch between lists and Kanban boards. Give each project its own stages, such as Planned, In Progress, and Waiting, so you can see where things stand. Break bigger tasks into subtasks, add tags and priorities, and use Smart Lists to bring the right work together across projects.

KEEP THE DETAILS WITH THE TASK

Add notes, links, images, PDFs, and emails so you have what you need when it's time to act. Customize each project's fields and keep conversations in comments. A task can hold the whole story, from the first brief to the final decision.

MAKE TIME FOR FOCUSED WORK

Start a timer on a task and see where your time goes. On iPhone and iPad, block distracting apps while you work. Follow your session from a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, the Dynamic Island.

REMINDERS THAT FIT REAL LIFE

Set reminders for a date, a time, or when you arrive at or leave a place. Repeat tasks on a schedule or a set time after you finish them, ideal for routines that don't always happen on the same day. Connect Apple Reminders to keep your existing lists in sync.

SHARE THE WORK, KEEP EVERYONE IN THE LOOP

Plan with your partner, family, or team. Share a project, assign tasks, and use comments and @mentions to keep decisions with the work. Only the person sharing needs Tasks Plus; the people you invite can collaborate for free.

You can bring your AI assistant into the project too. Connect a compatible assistant through MCP to help create and update tasks, leave comments, and track time. You choose which projects it can access and can revoke access at any time.

FEEL AT HOME ON YOUR APPLE DEVICES

Use Tasks on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. Keep tasks close with widgets, capture ideas from your wrist, and build everyday automations with Siri and Shortcuts. Sync lets you pick up where you left off on another device.

Make Tasks feel like yours with Classic, Mono, and Paper themes, your choice of heading and body fonts, and light or dark mode. Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support help you work comfortably.

START WITH YOUR NEXT TASK

Download Tasks for free. Tasks Plus adds unlimited projects, custom workflows and fields, sharing, attachments, Smart Lists, sync, and more. Choose a subscription or a lifetime purchase in the app.

## Tasks Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Good App, but poor UI and lacks clarity"
The app is nice enough, and has considerable flexibility. But, the UI is poor, and syncing between the mobile and the desktop versions is flat out broken. The user can clone a task in iOS and it will be displayed on Mac, but if the user clones a task on Mac, it will never be displayed on the iOS device. Also, the location of the project is not displayed in iCloud.
-- MPGo, 2024-12-31

### *---- "Keeps asking for a review"
Nagging for a review. There ya go. Don’t nag.
-- DerekDestroysEverything, 2024-12-10

### ****- "Inbox and archived projects are necessary. Customizable defauly project settings would be appreciate"
Title says it all. The Tasks feels good to use because because it’s free from all the visual noise typical of a project management app, without sacrificing the core utility. Just wish I had an Inbox for rapid capture and archived projects so I can get a project out of the way without just deleting it. The option to edit project setting defaults would be useful because some manage priorities differently than just high, medium and low regardless which project they’re working on.

Solid work otherwise
-- whitericeman, 2024-12-09

### ***** "Truly incredible"
It’s a to do app & project manager in the vain of things or todoist, and after only having used it for two days I was floored by the amount of tools at your disposal. The UI is also gorgeous never change it, truly it just looks so good, but can the little plus at the bottom where you add tasks be switched to the other side? I hold my phone with my right hand so it’d be more comfortable. Also I will say performance could be improved on it’s not slow or anything but I can tell it’s not as fast as it could be. Anyways just bought the lifetime and I wanna thank the developers for making such an incredible app that I’m planning on using for a very very long time <3
-- hateuhel, 2024-12-02

### ***** "Great app"
I use this a lot for grocery list!
-- lcjtgram, 2024-11-23

### *---- "No longer functions"
This app used to work great, it seems that it’s no longer maintained? The modal dialogs (create new task) don’t close and you have to force quit the app as a workaround. Please fix it and I’ll be happy to update my review and stars.
-- Eric the Cola, 2024-11-21

### ***** "Great App"
I have used the app on and off for 4 years and every time it amazes me at how user friendly it is yet innovative in design. I use it as a personal goals, skills and task tracker and I have achieved a lot thanks to this app helping stay focused.
-- EddyM613, 2024-11-01

### *---- "Scam"
I paid $14.99 for the first year then it gave me another popup saying I need to pay $49.99. They won’t let you exit the screen either.
-- bking256, 2024-10-05

### *---- "Paid for upgrade, but no special features unlocked!"
Very simply, I was excited for the subscription features and paid for the upgrade, but no special features were unlocked.

I contacted the developer via email (in the app) and received no response. And when I asked Apple Store for a refund and cited the reason, they denied it. I'm very disappointed. My best guess is that this app is something created some time ago that has been forgotten by its developer. DONT PAY FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION!
-- jenlizzles, 2024-09-18

### ****- "Still learning"
I’m still learning about the app. iPhone version, the badges and mortifications aren’t working. They do on iPad. Would also like a we based version
