Don't purchase digital products through either companies -- Sandlive, 2023-10-01 ### *---- "Horrible app" This is not easy to navigate. I cannot tell if I have a subscription or not. When I click on a new magazine it wants me to buy it. Also new special issues do not show up. Or.....they are behind in posting them. I am ready to cancel the whole thing except I love their magazines. I got an email today saying they have a new special issue and it is not there. Bring back the old app. It was easy to use. Enough complaining. -- MarianneJohnson, 2019-08-01 ### *---- "I Don’t Get New Issues" It doesn’t seem to update. I bought a $20 yearly subscription, but I can’t access new issues whenever they come out. It doesn’t even show them as an option on the app. -- Megan676j, 2019-03-25 ### **--- "App crashes ALOT!" Recipes are excellent though. But it still crashes. -- Jenee Tapert, 2019-03-23 ### ***** "The Missin Magazines" This app is no user friendly app. I had to delete this app and when I downloaded the app back to my phone I couldn’t get the magazines I had purchased . This also happened to me once before with the same app a few years ago -- Robin5999, 2019-03-04 ### *---- "Cannot open new issues" I purchased a year subscription and cannot open new issues without it wanting me to purchase it first. Horrible app! Going to ask for refund. -- Msmasco, 2018-11-30 ### ***-- "Not sure how to rate" This app is not very user friendly I have found. Every time I open it it asks me if I want to restore my issues and that it may take a lot of bandwidth. I thought when I downloaded an issue it was installed locally on my iPad. It's very confusing. Also not sure what you are supposed to do when finished with the magazine and are at the end. Can't seem to find out how to go back to the beginning. But I love the recipes and photos in this magazine. -- Fwc0574, 2018-11-19 ### *---- "Subscriptions" A year or so ago I subscribed to a 6 mo. Subscription for $10.99. It keeps renewing but won’t let me download the magazines. It offers a single issue price for $4.99 not $1.99 as this app states. My favorite magazine and I can’t even access it even though I have already paid for it. Very disappointing. -- riffybear, 2018-10-09 ### *---- "Waste of money" I subscribed through the App Store...what a joke! I have not been able to download anything! I would like my money back! -- Pamm14, 2018-06-03 ### *---- "Disappointed" If I could I would rate zero stars! This update corrected nothing! I purchased the subscription one week ago, emailed and messaged you, but still am unable to access even one issue to read. I am only given options to purchase( which I've already done ) or preview. I am extremely frustrated. I have purchased several printed issues and enjoyed them, which is why I wanted a subscription. Digital is my preference. You offer this option but have not delivered the product. Please refund my money as you have failed to provide adequate services to your customers. All reviews have said the same exact thing. -- Misnthesc, 2017-07-22 [View all Taste of the South reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Taste of the South In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | 1 Month | Taste of the South | $1.99 | | 1 Year | Taste of the South | $17.99 | | Taste of the South Magazine | $10.99 | | January/February 2013 | $3.99 | | November 2016 | $4.99 | | March/April 2013 | $3.99 | | 001 of Taste of the South | $3.99 | | Comfort Food 2013 | $7.99 | | May/June 2016 | $4.99 | | Southern Christmas 2013 | $7.99 | | Taste of the South | $2.99 | ## Apps Similar to Taste of the South -
