Not Optimistic
Made me make payment so I could download/print returns and unable to do just that online or in app. Did not give me option to change how I would like to receive refund. 1st and possibly last time using their services.
Never filing with them again!
My first year not using TurboTax. Thought I’d give TaxSlayer a try and it was cool until I needed an amendment… there is a $45 charge! Do better.
Rejected
My taxes were submitted and rejected 3 times due to my SSN and birth date not matching IRS records. I triple checked it , called SS office to confirm and everything is correct. I’m positive there is a glitch on TaxSlayer end and good luck getting any help from them! It’s Turbo Tax from here on out!
The complete tax app
Very simple and quick to use thanks taxslayer.
Tax Filing
I chose to do my own taxes. I entered everything on my own without any help but I’m still charged $178 to file my taxes. The only reason I used Tax Slayer this year is because I didn’t want to deal with a new company and have to enter all my information all over again. Convenience cost me $180… :-(

Overcharging to file taxes
I never chose premium file they charged me an extra 45.00 in this economy I have 5 kids always putting profits over the customer typical. To print a paper and have it e filed y’all should be ashamed how many customers are yall over charging yall are making millions and still taking from us customers next yr ill paper file myself it may seem like a little bit to u but 45x 1000 customers is a lump sum stop ripping us off we are Americans being taken advantage of no where did it say there is a 145.00 fee to file w y’all it said 39.95 lames
Shady but who isn’t?
^ charges you an extra $40 to pay them directly from your return. The audacity of these people is downright astounding.
